I read that PSU has to pay Indiana State $450,000 to come to Beaver Stadium to play them. Also, PSU could not schedule Saint Francis due to their program not having the ability to give out full scholarships to their football players. The good news is that Indiana State has won one game in their last 50.

Well if you're getting paid half a million dollars im sure anybody would take that offer, especially a D1-AA school. One romping at Beaver Stadium is well worth 450K. If you're gonna lose every game, you might as well get paid good money for one of those losses.

According to a JoePa theory, since the crowd at Beaver Stadium will be lower for the Indiana State game, and everyone will be out in the parking lots tailgating by halftime, his PSU players will have less garbage to up the next morning.

I thought school mascots were to strike FEAR in the hearts of their opponents? You know, like the bears, or the tigers. But SYCAMORES????? Indiana State should at least be the Fightin' Sycamores. Show a little spunk. Of course, if you ever had a tree branch fall on you, that could be devastating.
