congrats to the new head coach of altoona- dont know the man but good luck-- just my thoughts- i know coach sponsky and i dont know of a more complete person that puts his heart and soul into whatever he does-- my measuring stick would be the mature and well rounded young men that come out of his program- and i will venture to say that caoch sponsky has placed more young men in the next level to further their athletic and academic career than any coach around- its a never ending job that he puts in year after year-so to one of the best coaches in the state im sad you didnt get the altoona job but bishop carroll should be elated that they can still call you their caoch--- the fan---

Wow I'm very surprised Altoona did not go with Sponsky, well best of luck to everyone involved with the Altoona program. And continued success for Coach Sponsky at B.C.!

To all those who had "inside information" on the Altoona vote for head coach, and all those who were "almost positive" Sponsky was leaving BC: stick it in yer ear. I told you all two weeks ago that he was NOT a lock for the job.
