Mike Farrell for Heisman.
Rivals blowhard Mike Farrell proves again why he's the end-all for recruiting intelligence:
"Offers don't mean much when it comes to rankings."
I'm not even gonna waste everyone's time ripping that apart.
I can't go without one comment, though. I hope you are all smart enough to realize that what his statement means is that he feels he is a smarter, better talent evaluator than Pete Carroll and Urban Meyer and Mack Brown.
Then he ranked MLB Mike Hull as an OLB for some reason and said there are 15 players better than him. I bet you guys didn't know there are 15 pitchers in the MLB that are better pitchers than Chris Sabo. Please explain this insanity.
He also said that Mike Hull was really making a name for himself, then when the ratings came out, Hull was moved to OLB (because Mike Farrell is a coach at Penn State and Canon McMillan, I guess) and is now labeled a "tweener". The kid right above Hull, Travis Williams, is 26 pounds lighter than Mike Hull is.

TAE does bring up a great point in this. If you trust your coaches, then you should not exactly worry about how high a kid is rated. The people that rate these players only do it to get more subscribers and make money. The coaches are getting kids to win games and prepare for the future. They know a heck a lot more than these so-called "talent evaluators".
