Just report them and get it over with. We can't have any of this fishy, rumor-driven, half-truths, and lies. We all know that whatever this admin says must be the truth and now they have a website to prove it.

We've certainly had our share from the right, now haven't we? How many emails and blogs have posted lie after lie about Obama and his programs? Sadly, they are effective and prey on the ignorant. Some people still believe he is Muslim and is not a citizen.

How many of you are against medicare? Personally, I think it is a great government program because there is no way senior citizens could get affordable health care after they retire. One thing this issue proves is that the Republicans are indeed favor of recycling. They are bringing back the same arguments that they had for medicare in the 1960's. Reagan said it would lead to Americans losing their freedoms. George H.W. Bush called it socialized medicine. Barry Goldwater mocked it and asked why we just don't give all the smokers cigarettes too. Bob Dole proudly admitted that he was a house member who voted against it. Doesn't this sound familiar? I wonder how many republicans today would say in their campaign that medicare was a bad idea? I liked the guy at the town hall meeting that said "I don't want the government messing with my medicare!" If that is the level of intelligence of those who are opposed to Obama's health care plan then it's no wonder the emails filled with misinformation work so well.

I guess you can't refute any of my points from the previous post. Medicare is a joke as it doesn't provide that could of coverage. Most seniors have to get supplemental to medicare as it puts limits on the coverage it provides. That's a fact. I wouldn't believe anything on the WH.gov site. Read the actual house bill. That is what has people up in arms. Don't believe what Barry says he's going to do. We know now after six months that he's the big bull shitter ever to sit in the WH. I watched some of his usual "canned" town hall meeting in New Hampshire. Funny how the self-avowed "community organizer" is so pissed about people protesting.

Funny how Barry is now calling this bill "Health insurance reform" and not "Healthcare reform" anymore. Kind of like not using the term "Global Warming" anymore as it has been replaced with "Climate Change".

1. Like Death Panels are not going on now...

You have no idea what it’s like to be called into a sterile conference room with a hospital administrator you’ve never met before and be told that your mother’s insurance policy will only pay for 30 days in ICU. You can't imagine what it's like to be advised that you need to “make some decisions,” like whether your mother should be released “HTD” which is hospital parlance for “home to die,” or if you want to pay out of pocket to keep her in the ICU another week. And when you ask how much that would cost you are given a number so impossibly large that you realize there really are no decisions to make. The decision has been made for you. "Living will" or no, it doesn't matter. The bank account and the insurance policy have trumped any legal document.

If this isn’t a “death panel” I don’t know what is.

So don’t talk to me about “death panels” you heartless, cruel, greedy sons of *******, who are only too happy to keep the profits rolling in to the big insurance companies while you spout your mealy-mouthed bumper sticker slogans about the evils of socialism. You don't even know what socialism is. You don't know what government healthcare is. You have no ******* clue about anything except that you lost the last election and you're pissed off.

You are young. Your parents are still alive. You don’t know enough to take any of this seriously. It's all an exercise in political theater for you. But that will change. We all get older. The time will arrive, someday, when you are tasked with caring for someone you love who is seriously ill. You will be ushered in to that sterile hospital conference room with an administrator you do not know, where you are told to "make plans" for a day you never hoped to see. And then you will get your education.
