NORTH STAR LINE 09?

Post by nscougarfan »

ANYONE HAVE PREDICTIONS ON THE COUGARS LINEMAN THIS YR? OFFENSIVE AND DEFENSIVE SIDES. THEY HAD GOOD BACKUPS AND A FEW THAT ARE READY TO STEP UP IN THE STARTING LINE. GONNA HAVE TO HAVE STRENGTH TO MAKE UP FOR ULERY COALA AND ZERFOSS ON THE DEFENSIVE SIDE. ANY PREDICTIONS FOR THE LINE?

I think its going to be a tough season for them. Not a lot of experience for the new lineman so you can't tell if they will be decent or not. Lost a lot from a year ago thats for sure. They will have a good indication of where they need to be playing Berlin the first week.

there is alot of tough experienced players to step up. most all of the lineman even the freshman have been playing since 8 yrs old in the midget league. what about that #66 he looked impressive during varsity and jv last yr. he hits hard and gets off the ball well. i think he will have a nice season if he steps in

You can't say someone is experienced when they never seen much varsity time. It's common sense. I would honestly be surprised if North Star won 5 games this year. When you lose 15 seniors and almost all of them starters, its almost impossible to have the same outcome as last year.
