Tussey Mt/So Fulton
Tussey Mt over So Fulton in 2 OTs.
Southern Fulton is up 10 with under 2 minutes to go in regulation and continued to press and foul. TM made their foul shots and then Clapper banked in a 3 with 4 seconds left to tie the game.
The only way Southern Fulton can lose this game is to put TM on the line and they continued to do it.

What a crazy crazy game. I'm amazed at the fact that Tussey was able to somewhat stick with Southern. At times they made some horrible looking shots and were forcing the ball and they couldn't rebound either. But I have to credit them, they scrapped and got points anyway they can..even if it's a banked 3 pointer off a crazy screen. Once Tussey started to press them hard, Southern had a tough time getting anything consistent going and had turnovers and fouls. Then Tussey just worked their way back and eventually got the win. The lead that they took in the 2nd OT, I think, was the only time the whole game they led?? Can anyone confirm that?? I'm sure Head Roadie will have something to say after seeing this game, hot 'bout it HR?!

Yes The Roadshow (Roadie and Head Roadie) made the trip and the S.Fultonites had the game in their back pocket until they made some bad fouls which stopped the clock and gave TM time to set up their press. SF didn't do a good job at all vs m-m pressure....weren't really setting any screens and left the inbounder stranded on numerous occassions. TM literally "stole" this game from SF. Could be a springboard for a scrappy but offensively "challenged" team. I am curious to see how many of TM's 79 pts. Clapper and Zimm had....My guess is probably 59 of the 79 pts.
Anyway it's always entertaining to watch a game in Saxton where the refs talk to the fans during the games and Bailey stands up repeatedly without being so much as warned let alone T'ed up. JUst a different aura about the Terror Dome and it will be a tough place for anyone to win this year.

Perhaps I was in disguise....comes from years of being verbally abused down there!! j/k
I saw you chirping at Jarvis...what did you think of the flying wallenda screen Hinish threw on the SF kid to free up Clapper for the 3-pt bank!! That was a wild looking play!
TM is less talented basketball players than they've had for awhile but they may have more "heart" than any TM team I've seen...talk about "never say die" attitude....they were a clinic in that regard tonight.

truly a good game.. very ugly at times but just what TM hopefully needed to get them going.. round of applause for TM's role players.. Aaron Heath stepped up and played by far his best game and more like he should.. but when it came down to it.. the 2 studs stepped up in the ot's and got it down.. congrats to all my boys... Double Duece..."DONT FOUL THE JUMP SHOT!!"

A little off the subject but still a part of the game last night...I found great enjoyment and laughter in watching some of Tussey's older, more weathered faithful arguing with the refs. In particular it was the guys standing down at the door at the end of the gym straight across from SF's contingency. The one guy was busting on the ref and the security guard was standing beside him and laughing !!! Funny, funny stuff...
I love watching Bailey coach because of how animated he is and how he gets everything out of his players. He kept telling them towards the end of the game that it's not over and they had plenty of time. It was great to watch him not let them give up and like HR said, they played with a lot of heart. They scrapped and didn't let SF get up by more than probably 10 or 12 and just fought back...definitely a great game.
