Bad enough you lose 3 senior starters with a wealth of expierence(LF SY TB)
then the best player you have declares for the draft(DB)
then one of the leaders of the team gets suspended for academics (GB)
and now the only remaining starter injures his foot and will miss at least 8 weeks.

he should be back in time to play the big gzames which is good. but the opening night lineup looks like.....
PG Ashton Gibbs Soph
SG Brad Wannamaker jr
SF Nasir Robinson soph
PF Talib Zanna frosh
C Dante Taylor frosh
bench...Gary McGhee Travon Woodall Lamar Patterson JJ Richardson Dwight Miller Chase Adams

im worried. real worried

I have been worried before, but Jamie also seems to develop these kids. I was worried when we lost Knight, then Krauser comes along. I was worried when we lost Krauser, then Fields comes along. I was worried when we lost Troutman, Lett, Brown, Page, Taft, Gray, etc. then other guys come along. Great programs lose good players all the time. They have a knack for developing kids into their system. Now the talent level of the recruits is increasing.

Have faith in Jamie and the program.

yeah we broke in new players before. Krauser came in with players like Troutman Page Brown ect. Fields came in with Ramon Kendall Gray...we dont have anybody thats capable of being an All Big East performer this year. Maybe some all Big East rookie teams. expierence is a good thing to have....and we dont have it. I think this team can be really really good down the line. UConn 3 or 4 years ago was horrible but the rose up with the same core of players and got themselves in contention I think thats going to happen with the Panthers but we are in for a long season this year.
