Re: Lions add 4-star FB
Not according to the people on this site, according to ME. I'm the only one who knocks the kid.
I have seen Corey Brown's films. There is a consensus that Brown is the most overrated player in the COUNTRY by many who have seen him play. This kid is coming off severe knee injury in which he already had durability issues to begin with. He is another kid who plays RB in HS that is a WR at the next level. That means he's a "project". Penn State has Adrian Coxson committed, a 5-star WR, and they made the decision to take Project Kenney over Project Brown. The Penn State staff has not contacted Corey Brown in over 6 months. Brown claims a lot of big offers, but most of those schools stopped talking to him as soon as other RBs committed. That's a bad sign for a recruit.
Telling you right now, and I am getting better and better at predicting this recruiting stuff, Corey Brown will never see the field at Ohio State (or Penn State for that matter) unless its in mop-up duty. Honestly, Wildcat, that's a wasted scholarship for a program as prestigious as Ohio State.

Recruiting is a tough thing to predict my friend for anyone dont get too cocky. One of Pitt's best player was only a two star from Florida with offers from the likes of UCF Florida Atlantic Deleware UConn and Rutgers and Pitt and this kid has first round material for sure
I mean its hard to say whose going to be a good player and wose not. Scout and Rivals always have different rankings

Check ESPN.com. An article posted yesterday has Corey Brown listed as one of ten impact freshmen for next year. Not saying you're wrong. Just saying that there is a difference of opinion.

There's no chance in Hell.
How can they say that?! Did they look at 120 depth charts and say "corey brown is better than every WR in america"????? That's just.... It's stupid, is what it is.
I personally think you wasted a scholarship. Even if he stays at RB... that kid is NO WAY better than the backs at OSU. Like I said, everyone backed away from Brown for other RBs. That should tell you something.

Don't you think the knee injury caused them to shy away? This kid's numbers were unreal before the injury. Those injuries are no longer as career-threatening as they once were. I think if he is fully recovered, he could be a good use of a scholarship. Apparently, folks that study recruiting agree with me.
