I am not trying to say that the PSU/OSU game even compares to the OSU/MICH game but at the same time, I am pretty sure OSU fans are starting to check the schedule to see when the PSU game is. This is a game that has had gameday 3 of the last 4 years. It is a game that is becoming watched by more than just PSU and OSU fans. Michigan will always be who Ohio State hates the most. At the same time though its not like Penn State is just another game either.

HR, its about the revenue. Why is Penn State GIVING Pitt a sold out audience of PSU fans at Heinz? You miss the point.

And those other games you mentioned... Except for Tulane, none of those ooc rivalries have a school w attendance issues!

I could understand that AE, if PSU hadn't given Syracuse a sold out audience of True Blue fan's on a one game for one game basis. I think it's exactly what they did for Syracuse. And I've been given the "recruiting ground" argument to which I reply, WPIAL land is a much more fertile recruiting ground than the Syracuse, NY area.
