Valley Bowl

Just curious if there are any opinions or feedback on the "Valley Bowl" (Conemaugh Valley vs Blacklick Valley) at the Point Stadium. Any fans of these teams enjoy the Point? Is it a good idea? Should it continue in the future?

Just for the heck of it, does anyone know how much it cost the schools to rent the Point for that night?

I heard it was approximately $1,500 for the game but you get the gate and 50/50 and the City gets the concessions. I watched the game and believe they had to make money on the deal. The 50/50 was around $800 and both teams had pretty nice crowds on hand.

The game was not very good if you were a Blue Jays fan with Blacklick rolling up a 41-0 halftime lead.
