I root againist Michigan all the time, does that count? (fu** Michigan) Actually I used to enjoy watching and cheering for Pitt until they played Penn State. With the creation of BleacherCoaches I find myself praying for a Pitt loss every week. I wonder why I have developed this dislike?

It is because Pitt fans have nothing better to do than talk sh** on Penn State. Pitt fans would rather see Penn State lose than see Pitt win...I was the same way with you Goodwill. As a PSU fan, I'd actually follow Pitt and would usually cheer for them. The reason I don't anymore is because of Pitt fans...the most annoying fans in the country. Pitt fan's philosophy: let's bit** about Penn State more than talk about our own dang team so people won't notice how mediocre we really are!!! It doesn't work though....3 bowl wins since the '81 Sugar Bowl + constant PSU bashing EVERY YEAR = The reason Pitt sells out MAYBE 2 games a year at Heinz....so pathetic.

Call it whatever you want WPIAL but the fact of the matter is Pitt has been left in the dust by the football world and they try to blame that on Joe Paterno.

It's kinda like when Penn State fans say Pitt isn't their rival, and yet when you ask them why they don't play Pitt...generic response 1018 states "why would we want to give Pitt a huge payday?" And yet on the other hand they'll do it for Syracuse? It might mean that PSU wouldnt want to give their in state rival a supposed "payday". But of course We arent rivals anymore? Sounds contradictory to me? just saying.

I dont know why you guys thinks this happens one way? Are all PSU fans soo snobby that they don't root against Pitt?...you guys must be the .4% of PSU fans that don't care about Pitt. Because all the ones i Know openly hate Pitt and root against. But you have all been brainwashed into believing the stupid misconception that the Big Ten means anything, its a mediocre league IMO...Left in the dust of the college football world? We have had just as many if not more Big time players then Penn State and we play in just as many High profile games. call it what you will but Penn State is the most arrogant team in the country for not having won a championship in the past 15 years. Dress in your kkk attire this week and beat the hell out of Eastern Illinois with my blessing,

And I hope the skies in Pittsburgh turn gray Saturday because God isnt a fan of Penn State in Pittsburgh.

Gee that didn't take long to figure out why I like to see Pitt lose every week.

I guess you have your reason for posting your claim to fame post there WPInheAdL. By the way you Pitt fans do you even care Pitt is playing UConn this week or are you so concerned with the PSU/Eastern Ill?

I care about UCONN/Pitt this weekend, but what does it matter? Pitt never gets a full house for a game (even when they beat Iowa), and that's all that matters, right? It's irrelevant.

Here's the real relevant stuff that inquiring minds want to know:

State linebacker headed to trial on DUI charge
Wednesday, October 07, 2009
By Ron Musselman, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

BELLEFONTE, Pa. -- Penn State backup linebacker Michael Zordich today waived his right to a preliminary hearing at the Centre County Courthouse on charges of driving under the influence and driving without headlights.

An attorney did not represent Zordich, a redshirt freshman from Canfield, Ohio. His pre-trial conference has been set for Jan. 21 (niiiice, after the season is over). The DUI charge is a misdemeanor and driving without headlights is a summary offense.

Mr. Zordich, 19, was charged with DUI at 3:25 a.m. Aug 30 --- six days before the season opener against Akron. (Get used to being up early Sunday, Mikey...That 8AM trash detail at The Beav is a killer!!!!!)

He was stopped on Bigler Road after university police noticed him driving without headlights. Penn State Police Deputy Director Tyrone Parham said Mr. Zordich's blood-alcohol content was 0.19 (which is also higher than Zordich's current GPA, and a bit higher yet than Goodwill Blutarsky's 0.0 at Allegany Community College). The limit for a minor is 0.02.

Mr. Zordich has seen limited playing time in five games for the Nittany Lions and has registered one tackle. (This is a KEY POINT: Depth chart justice will warrant discipline in this case, unlike it did for borther Navorro...Wait and see.)

His father, Mike, was an All-America safety at Penn State in the 1980s and later played 12 seasons in the NFL. He is currently a defensive coaching intern with the Philadelphia Eagles.

For more on Penn State, read the new blog, Ron Musselman On Penn State at post-gazette.com/plus. Ron Musselman can be reached at [email protected].
