Mack Brown speaking up.
Anyone seen how irritated Mack Brown has been as of late with the BCS and all the nonsense? He's biting his tongie from what he really wants to say, but I am very glad he is speaking up a little bit. I am not the biggest Texas fan b/c their fans down here are beyond obnoxious, not I have a lot of respect for Brown. He is a master recruiter, a master fundraiser, a master of the psychological side of building a program, and a great football coach.
Texas has no business getting slighted in the polls. It is ridiculous that they have to hope no one else jumps them when Fla/Ala play and one of them gets knocked out. Pathetic.

I loved it. It's about time someone with some weight to throw around said what every other football enthusiast that lives outside of the SEC is thinking.
My brother and I were talking about that Saturday watching Florida's "comeback". If it were any of the other top teams not in the SEC that played a game like that @ HOME to a 3 loss team, the repercussions would have been so outrageous it wouldn't even be funny. But, since it's Florida, it was a great comeback by a great team. It's really disgusting to even sit and watch what unfolds on a weekly basis.
Someone please explain to me what South Carolina has done to deserve to stay ranked after laying the egg they did vs. 'Bama. Please. I know that 'Bama defense is good, but is any defense that good @ the college level? I think they need to scrutinize the SEC's lack of offense the same way they scrutinize the perceived lack of defense in the BigXII and the lack of depth in all the other conferences in America.
The whole system blows. At least in the NFL what you do on the field matters in terms of wins and losses. There are no style points. That's why I like the NFL more as a whole than I do what happens in NCAA football.

Biggest games this weekend as far as I'm concerned are Penn State at Michigan and Iowa and Michigan State.
I couldn't care less about that national title. As soon as Penn State is out of it, I tune out to the title race. I still watch the games, but I'm done getting brain freezes over the national championship. I guess if I had to root for someone it would be Alabama or Texas.

Mack is fed up with the BCS crap after last year. He's finally doing something about it. I think Will Muschamp has given him that fire that he's never had before. Mack really wants to win another National Championship, so he can ride off into the sunset after he does it, but it's going to take a lot more out of Colt McCoy to get it done.
