Re: Titan's Big Ten Analysis.
I totally agree with TAE. There's not a dominant conference in College Football this season.

Re: Titan's Big Ten Analysis.
With Tennessee's win last night, Florida clinched it's division in the SEC. Tell me how, for a conference that is supposedly so much tougher than all the others, a team can clinch a spot in the conference title game after 8 games?
Is Florida good? Yes. Is the SEC as good as is rammed down our throats on a daily basis? Most definitely not. There are 2 very good teams: Florida and Alabama. LSU is NOT THAT GOOD. They scored 3 points at home at night vs. Florida. 3 POINTS!! After that it's a crap-shoot. Just like every other conference this year.
The Pac-10 is a lot deeper than people realize this year.
The Big East and Big 10 are just as deep, if not deeper than the SEC.
The ACC is the ACC. Duke is 1 win from becoming bowl eligible and controls it's own destiny in their conference for crying out loud. That says everything about the 'strength' of that conference.
There is a pile of parity in NCAA football this year. I'm hoping Boise State, TCU, Iowa, Texas Cincinnati and Alabama all go undefeated.
How great would a playoff be this year?

Florida has played one ranked team at this point in the season. That's how great the SEC is right now.

Re: Titan's Big Ten Analysis.
I'll do you one better: the vaunted Florida Gators have played TWO teams above .500 and one of them is Troy State.
Now, that being said, consider how unimpressive Tebow and that defense have both been, even against sub .500 competition.
Yeah, he deserves the right to be Archie Griffin's equal. What a crock.
Give me Texas and Alabama right now for the national title and let the rest of the conferences fight to see who wins them.
