Btw, if Pitt wins this weekend and Penn State loses congrats. Pitt will deserve to be ranked higher and it will be probably around the 3rd time in 25 years that they have been ranked above Penn State. Sadly, it probably won't last long, though, because Pitt will probably lose at least 2 of their final 3 games.

Sorry TAE, I understand your point if they make it to 10-2 and win the MAC, but that still won't make them a quality opponent. It makes them an average OOC opponent, but not a quality one. Every team from the BCS conferences should beat the MAC champion if they play; it would not happen, but it should.

I see your point Bison, but it's hard to look past any team that has a 10-2 record as a semi-quality opponent, even in the MAC. Look at last year Ball State was 12-0 heading into the MAC championship, which they did lose, and there were people calling for them to be a "BCS Buster." By your logic this year Boise State, Huston, Utah, BYU and TCU shouldn't be considered quality opponents because of playing in lower tier leagues. And I doubt that anyone would say they aren't a quality OOC opponent
