What and give all the athletic money to the BOYS wrestling?? The girls have a right to participate in sports. Should they drop the PSU Football program because they had a bad year? Give the girls a break. They might just be having a bad year. Just think, what is going to happen to HYNDMAN WRESTLING once the SNYDER boys graduate in 2006? Think about it?????

If they dropped football at PSU there would be no other sports left because football is the one that brings in all that money to pay for the other sports. It is the only sport that really brings in any money to the University. Boys B-ball doesn't bring in anything, they're lucly to play infront of 1,000 people, same for the girls's squad.

Wow beingjustme...wow i really dont think u should be talkin about Hyndman wrestling on this girls basketball page...and WHO cares if the money goes to wrestling...its a very popular sport in Hyndman...and why does ppl make it seem as though the ONLY reason Hyndmans wrestling team is good is cuz of the Snyders...I mean not takin away from they everyone knows they are awesome and prob the best Hyndman has ever had but u have to remember Hyndman has been good for years....Aaron Elliot, The Stalhman brothers, Hovatter, satzer, the Scritchfield brothers, Mj Parsons, Travis Twigg ect. in the past years a lot of these guys have either placed at districts or were district champs...SO......if Hyndman fans wanna support BOYS wrestling.....Well then im sure they will!!!

MizRite....get off your high horse. Yes I know just how popular wrestling is in Hyndman. The point I was trying to make is that ALL students deserve a chance to participate in the athletic program. It should not matter whether they have a good year or a bad one.

beingjustme is correct in saying that MizRite needs to get off her horse. She said how he should not be talking about wrestling in a basketball forum, and then goes on to talk about everyone that wrestles from Hyndman!
beingjustme is also correct in saying that even though the girl's are having a rough time that they should still get some of the money from the school. It is only the truth. What if wrestling declined in the next couple of years and it became a not so popular sport? Would you say just screw it and cut all their funding...nobody cares about wrestling anyway anymore?? Now we all know how MizRite is such a wrestling fiend, so she will probably still disagree with me anyway, but beingjustme is just stating some very good facts.

its not just this year,the ladies have been very bad for 5 or so years i think they won like 6 games the last few years.thats real bad.with teams this bad,one would have to think perhaps they should close the program. and i have to agree with miz,on her thoughts. :shock:
