Little preTENd...Just the FACTS in BLACK AND WHITE
The Little preTENd is a JOKE...READ IT BELOW IN BLACK AND WHITE. The Big East is superior in every way, in every sense of the word.
I can't wait to hear the Nitters talk about this. I want to hear them dispute this PROOF IN BLACK AND WHITE regarding just how overrated the Little preTENd is.
Conference comparisons against BCS-caliber teams from 2005 to 2008 (not including Notre Dame as BCS caliber because, well we all know they haven't been from 2005 to 2008)

Conference comparisons against non-BCS teams from 2005 to 2008 (including Notre Dame because, well we all know they haven't been a BCS-caliber team from 2005 to 2008). Also, this includes beating up on (or in Michigan's case losing to) those lowly I-AA teams

Pitt has no marquee win that validates their #14 ranking...We smashed all of our competition, except for Iowa, and they're good and rakned in the top 5! College football was invented in University Park, PA. We have a head coach with integrity and class who runs the cleanest program in the world. The college football world revolves around PSU!"

Re: Little preTENd...Just the FACTS in BLACK AND WHITE
No spinning here, but the BCS bowl games and the BCS conference bowl games can easily be explained by 2 points:
1) OSU being over rated and playing in 2 national championships and sending the 2nd place team to the Rose Bowl to get slaughtered by USC and a trickle down effect where the Big Ten schools are playing "up" a bowl game from where they should be. Look at 2006 I believe it was when Iowa was 6-6 and 5th in the Big 10 and still hung with Texas who was 3rd or 4th in the Big12 with a 9-3 record. (my data may be a little off because im too lazy to look it up but it was something like that)
2) The Big East champion is not affiliated with any particular bowl and usually is picked last for which BCS game they play in, usually not against any of the BEST teams, for instance Cincy lost to VaTech last year...anybody remember VaTech's record last year for sure? I think they were 9-4 and 2 of the losses were to East Carolina and Boston College, a loss to East Carolina is UGLY no matter how YOU spin it.

Re: Little preTENd...Just the FACTS in BLACK AND WHITE
Well I've been leaning this way for a while, but that sealed it for me. The Big East is the best conference in football. Forget the fact that the Big East's second place team lost to the last place team in the ACC or that their 3rd place team lost to the 7th best team in the SEC, I agree with the Computers that had Iowa ranked as the best team in the nation last week and that rate the big east as a powerhouse. Here is what i would do for the BCS.
Orange
UCONN vs Louisville
Sugar
Syracuse vs. Rutgers
Fiesta
WVU vs. South Florida
Rose Bowl
NC State Vs. Auburn
BCS championship
Pitt vs. Cincy rematch

Of course the Nitters avoid my posts...
Any time anything is posted negative about the PSU cult football team, it's immediately dismissed as drivel. This is true even if it's FACTUAL INFORMATION.

Only in your little mind and the strange reality you live in it is factual information.WPIAL~Titan wrote:Of course the Nitters avoid my posts...

Re: Little preTENd...Just the FACTS in BLACK AND WHITE
You don't post information. I would read it then.
