Penn State Meltdown
Let the JokePA must go threads begin...Here's a newsflash Nit Wits: That man should've retired 15 years ago. Now, PSU gets absolutely hammered, outplayed, outcoached, and outclassed in a game to a team that is just flat out BETTER than them. It's OK, you can say it: tOSU is a better football team than us.
Here's something novel: JOKEPA'S KNOWLEDGE OF FOOTBALL AND IN GAME COACHING/GAME PREPARATION ARE THE LEAST OF PSU'S PROBLEMS. Take a look at the team crime report.
You want to talk about how poorly SlowPa coaches, how lousy PSU played...Here's the dose of reality though: tOSU and Iowa are simply significantly better teams that Penn State.
I don't care how weak PSU's OOC schedule is, how many people pack their stadium every home game, or how many national TV appearances they have. PSU simply isn't a top flight football team, and as much as you wll never admit it, PSU isn't even as good as PITT...and Worse yet, Darryl Clark, although more physically gifted and talented, isn't even as good a QB as Bill Stull. The proof is on the field and in the stats. Clark cannot perform against any credible teams. Stull better than Clark? Now that must really hurt.
Humanitarian Bowl anyone?

You're unreal and a pretty big loser. You probably could have just replied to my post. Most fans know Paterno should have been gone long ago. Most know that OSU is consistanly better and that's why we want Joepa gone because fans know Penn State can and will be better. Why don't you write something about Pitt for once? You're pathetic.

The funniest things about your posts is how you post them, read them, then edit them. Adding Bolded lettering and more nonsense. You are so obsessed with Penn State it's truly pathetic. Be honest you would rather see Penn State lose than Pitt win. It's true isn't it?

I know you're hurting now, Kirk. Badly. PSU simply isn't a top 10 program this year. They're barely a top 25 program. They lost twice AT HOME to two programs and teams that are quite simply BETTER THAN THEM, and have been better than them since PSU joined the Little preTENd.
Your pain will get worse when you pick up the paper tomorrow and see that horrendous Pitt football program 6-7 spots ahead of PSU in those opinion poll rankings that you hang your hat on to define a program's excellence.
Ouch.

Honestly I won't be that upset. Pitt will have deserved to be ranked higher at this point. They may or may not hold that ranking but either way good for them. They finally are doing something. I can admit Penn State isn't having a great year. They weren't really expected to. Most experts had them pegged at 10-2 or 9-3 which is about right. I'm disappointed they lost, yes. I think in the end of the Paterno era this is the norm. Better days are ahead. This is as good as it gets at Pitt, but you don't seem to pay much attention to them. You should.

99 should have been his last season. Not 99. I say 99 bc it was the first time it was totally obvious that he had lost his edge.

Re: Penn State Meltdown
Summary of the PItt game:
Pitt destroyed Syracuse in a yawner that was never even close after Cuse's first drive.
Keep in mind that Cuse is the last place team in the Big East...and a team who beat Northwestern, who beat the Little preTend's great hope Iowa, who plastered the program that invented college football, Penn State, who also lost to tOSU today, who was beaten by a Purdue team that's every bit as bad as Syracuse.
Got all that?
Have a nice night!
