I personally cheer for the WestPac a good bit but if you look top to bottom the ICC is a better conference. The bottom half of the WestPac is very bad. The drop off isn't near as bad in the ICC.

Good point, the WestPAC is week on the bottom a lot weaker than the ICC. It will be interesting to see how Blacklick will fair against Bellwood this weekend. I have never watched Bellwood but know they beat Tyrone this season.

From my program and Maxpreps.com it looks like they have a couple of big linemen and a solid QB, RB and good receivers. Blacklick has a good mix on offense and defensively they seem to have come together.

I have seen Bellwood play this year, and many times in the past and this looks like it might be the best Bellwood team that they have had in a long time. The QB can run, but is a very good thrower, they RB is fast and shifty, and they have very capable Receivers. They also have a very good defense. I know nothing of Black Lick, but they will have a very tough team to play against this weekend.

I was thinking about the bottom of the WestPAC as compared to the bottom of the ICC. WestPAC has Conemaugh Valley (1-8) Rockwood (3-6) Ferndale (3-6) Shade (3-6) and I would say Conemaugh Valley is the worst team in the league. On the other hand the ICC has a pretty good odor in the cellar too.

Portage 9-0, Windber 8-1, Conemaugh Township 8-1 and Blacklick Valley 8-2 are pretty solid football teams.

As I stated numerous times,it is great to see Blacklick Valley finally get its due on the gridiron.All those years that other school from Ebensburg raided Nanty-Glo for players.I hope for nothing but good luck for them.And all this coming from a die-hard Forest Hills fan.Yes they got a huge task this weekend ahead,but somewhere "Egor" is looking down upon these guys and smiling! Bellwood will be a tough opponent but like Muddle Huddle said earlier I am sure the Valley of the Viking is fired up for this opportunity.
