Apologies due...
Re: Apologies due...
Emanon's been having a lovefest with that front page United cover story now for 6 days. he must have finally put it down to post on here, or it has to many stains on it and is illegible now.

Is the fuss being made over 1 game or 300 of them?

C'mon Emanon. How about at least a "My Bad", or whatever you young guys say when you screw up.
Re: Apologies due...
Look folks...
The FH legion were the ones all bent out of shape because Mastovich didn't write a 'preview' of Bailey's potential 300th win before the game...
I pointed out, as Mastovich stated in his column, that he didn't write about it in his preview because Bailey asked him not to do so.
Thus, I have nothing to apologize about.
To the point...
The T-D covered the Bailey/FH win over Somerset. But, not to the satisfaction of the FH faithful. To hear them, the Fort Hood story should have been pulled, and the press start delayed to insert the Bailey story on page 1 of the main section.
The Ancient One then goes on a rant degrading the T-D staff and spouting non-factual statements. Perhaps. he should apologize for that?
Has anyone expressed their dissatisfaction to Knopsnyder? He is the guy in charge of sports. What purpose was really served by posting on this board?
Message boards are a joke. I come on here from time to time to have some fun. Playing with you guys is like shooting fish in a barrel...lol
As I said, anyone that would post 4,000 to 6,000 times on these things REALLY needs to look at themselves in a mirror.
Anyway, thanks for the fun...
Do you want me to apologize?

Not everyone that posts on here is a sophomore in High School, either. TAE and Moldo have been posting on here for years. Your a clown. They could post more meaningful information in 1 post than you would in 6,000.
It shouldn't be an argument.
They snubbed one of the biggest coaching icons in the area. The only coaches in the area that even are near Bailey's league are the Bailey at Tussey Mountain and Hayes at Bellwood. It should have been 1st page of the paper, not the sports page.

At least it would have been a feel good story instead of the gloom and doom the Tribune usually runs on the front page.

Re: Apologies due...
What was posted that was "non-factual"? That the TD is full of errors and bad journalism?
What's non-factual about United/Guilfoyle on Page 1? What was non-factual about Bailey's accomplishment getting pushed to PAGE THREE of the HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL SECTION, not even the SPORTS section?
