Has the B10 finally hit rock bottom?

Post by The Ancient Enemy »

OSU, Mich, and PSU are all young teams. Other than them, is there another program to get excited about, moving foward?

This is the worst I've ever seen the conference. It's got nowhere to go but up. Right?

Here's a little secret TAE...The Big Ten has been bad for the last several years, not just this year. The conference has embarassed themselves in bowl games, UM's loss to AppSt, PSU's disgraceful schedules and overrated teams, and the list goes on...

Iowa, tOSU, PSU, Wisky=All mediocre/average teams

The rest of the conference=As bad as it gets

Now...Go win that LAND GRANT TROPHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it extends past the Big Ten this year. I could just as easily say that for nearly every conference in college football. This is the most mediocre year of college football I can remember.

At some point it has to get better.

Mich and PSU have a lot... I mean a lot... of freshmen getting time.

Ohio State is also relatively young.

There is so much raw talent on all 3 of those teams. And that is exactly what the B10 wanted: PSU, OSU, and UM being the top teams.

I agree that all of college football is down, though. This has been a horrible year. Its a combination of kids declaring early and this 12-game schedule crap. The kids need a bye week.

Its not like Wisky is irrelevant. They are now 16th in the BCS.

Why all of this love for Michigan? They may be young, but they are terrible. Just because they are Michigan does not automatically mean they are a team on the rise. RichRod has not been able to adjust to Big 10 football or to the personnel that he inherited.

I also agree that Wisky needs some respect. They are probably the second or third best team in the league this year, depending on how you rate Iowa. Many of their players are young.

I swear the 2 of you take acid before watching Big Ten games. Wisconsin is TERRIBLE! I have seen at least 5 of their games and they are garbage!!! Do you not realize that Wisconsin is and has been the most overrated program in the nation for about a decade? All they have is a decent young QB, Toon's kid is okay, and Clay is a top 15 RB probably. Other than that... what team are you even watching?

Michigan has no hope, are you serious? There are more athletes on that team than ANY team in the Big Ten. Defense is the issue. As much as I dislike Rich Rod... there is NO question that his system works. Now, will the UM alums and brass keep him 3-4 years to build his team? I dunno. Very stupid if they don't.

The Robinson hire was a mistake. But he'll be fired probably this season. The problem, as I already tried to explain, was that the systems are not communicable. The Carr system and personnel are not conducive to the Rodriguez system and personnel. That takes YEARS to replace 4-seasons of personnel. If Michigan is really that stupid to not see this, they deserve 3-win seasons.

Listen, fellas. A speed format w/ a solid defense will defeat every B10 team every season. Its a matter of time until those idiots are national title contenders.

Do you take acid before reading my posts?

All I said was that Wisconsin has to be considered at least relevant.
