Its a complete disgrace, and totally disgusting that anyone would do this. I hope they catch the a**holes who did and punish them as bad as they possibly can be for commiting this crime. I like the idea of putting them in their robes and sending them to the Alliquippa Beaver Falls game.

Are you really going to try and tie this REAL TERRIBLE event to the "hate" on Bishop McCort? That's sad vman. I'm hoping you are joking...although I don't know why you'd joke in a topic like this.
Not joking there Op, I agree this was a totally despicable act no if ands or buts and not comparing to anti BM sentiment but who did the Klan target?? Blacks Catholics & Jews! And although ignored & minimized Catholic bashing is the only acceptable prejudice left in the United States? U.S. groups that are scrupulously PC about offending religious institutions make one major exception: the Roman Catholic Church.....Such attacks would be tolerated against literally no other group, whether that group is religious, political or ethnic...We should ask whether comparable expressions would be allowed if they caused outrage or offense to any other group, whether or not that degree of offense seems reasonable or understandable to outsiders. If the answer is yes, that our society will indeed tolerate controversial or offensive presentations of other groups-of Muslims and Jews, African-Americans and Latinos, Asian-Americans and Native Americans, gays and lesbians- then Catholics should not protest that they are being singled out for unfair treatment.
I have to say thank you to me ..." for not being stupid enough to go to Penn State."

I never said I don't like Catholics. Some of my best friends are Catholic. But...

I dislike people trying to make something more out of a situation than what is there. Especially when it's tailored to them.

Name me the last time any crosses were burned in a white Catholics front yard?

Whatever. Spin what I said any way you want to. At the end of the day any acts such as this are despicable and if someone is ever found to be doing this, should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
