Matt Deiana gets walk-on offer

Nitwits are chasing Matt Deiana from Lincolndale, NY. Deiana is 5'7" 190 lbs. and runs a 4.4. He is listed as a CB/RB and is coming off a neck injury. However... this kid benches 405 lbs and squats 600!!!

He has offers from Army and Princeton so far. For a kid that small and fast that is that strong, he could be a real hidden gem, who knows.

All the schools he has interest in all have very high academics.

have you actually seen footage of the kid squatting 600, or benching 405 for that much. I am going to have to call false, especially on the 600lb squat, unless of course it was no where even close to thigh parallel.

You never know anymore little Noel Devine can and has done both those weights and is not 190. Some of these kids are crazy strong.

not at all, but so many weightlifting numbers are so inflated, especially on squat because people can basically call anything a squat....and then 40 time...and then bench

Pats, I'm not sure. Might be false. The same numbers are listed on Rivals and Scout, so he either did these weights at a camp or else turned the numbers into both sites independently. Who knows.
