BA vs. BM Score updates??

Depends on what sports you are talking about.I believe BG girls bball teams have won numerous state titles.Seems to me so has BC when gongloff was there .If BG ever gets the altoona athletes flowing in and gets into single A it will be a massacre.Imagine drawing from bellwood tyrone and altoona.If they could hire hayes or franco I think it would happen!

OK. Now I understand. When a catholic team is good its because they recruit but the years they are bad they must have taken the year off from recruiting. Or they only recruit for certain sports depending on what they feel like being good at....I get it!!

The point is this simple, only privates can get away with recruiting and playing in a small school class.Also when a private school gets a reputation for winning titles in a particular sport kids go there for that sport!We wouldn't need to have this arguement if they all played up or better yet had a privates playoff system like in the past.

McCort has an advantage that kids can attend their school from other districts. McCort has an advantage because parents get to pay tuition and school taxes and force their kid to wear a tie and do large amounts of homework. My issue though, is with the recruiting. Most of the posters on here think that McCort's recruiting is so good. Bah! Their recruiting stinks. On their entire football team they only have one kid that transferred after their sophomore year and none after their freshman year. That's pitiful! Does McCort think that they can win with mostly Catholic school kids? They need to hire a different recruiter. There is no reason they can't have at least 50 star athletes who had already established themselves at other schools. There is some good talent slipping away.

Congrat's to the McCort kids.. I will give them credit because they had a fight this week and proved they can do much more than just beat up on subpar teams. This team is the real deal.. I'm expecting atleast a semifinals appearance

And why are we talking about that JUGGLED catch anyway. What about that fake punt by McCort right before halftime? How bad of a bonehead playcall was that????

If we're going to talk about the fake punt, let's also talk about the numerous fourth and longs that were converted. My thoughts on the game were this:

1) In regards to McCort: I loved the aggressive play calling on offense. But McCort's defensive play calling has been lackluster since the loss of Seidel in the box. BA was able to drive the ball on what looked like a very simple defense.

2) In regards to Bellwood: The LHAC is not as good as we'd like to think.

Why don't we see how BM, FH, and Bedford do this week?

Yeah, I feel BA is at the same level as BM, but what does that say for some of the other conferences, not only in D5/6 but around the state? Bedford is still playing for crying out loud!

I don't agree with User about the assessment of our defense. We held their two top rushers to 110 rushing yards while Seidel went for 200, story of the game.

I feel that Forest Hills, McCort and Bellwood are the best teams in all D6 A, AA, and AAA. It's funny that 2 out of 3 are single A teams. I hope that FH, McCort, and Bedford win it all. McCort has the best chance in single A
