LHAC Playoffs continued yet again
Re: LHAC Playoffs continued yet again
I'm pretty sure that GCC was ranked #1 by the Patriot News and maybe even PFN earlier in the year. They had some close losses that dropped them down, but have obviously bounced back.
Re: LHAC Playoffs continued yet again
Last year every one of Wilmington's playoff wins was a close or come-from-behind game. I'm sure LUCK had nothing to do with it.
It ain't over until it's over.

Almost every team who has won a state title in any sport needs luck and those who say they don't are either liars or plain crazy.Let's face it on any given play you could lose one or more key players to injury not to mention the numerous wild calls ,fumbles, deflections etc.You better be good but being lucky is very very helpful!Isn't that why lots of people say it's better to be lucky than good?

I usually say something like that after I bank a 3 point shot from the corner...usatf oldguy wrote:You better be good but being lucky is very very helpful!Isn't that why lots of people say it's better to be lucky than good?
I'd rather be good

The game changer for the BM/BA game last Saturday was when Pinkerton got blindsided, fumbled the ball on a 3rd and 18, Merriman picks it up and runs the ball inside the 5 yardline. Good to be lucky.
