Let me see if I got this straight..... The 6th place team from the PAC 10 beat the 1st place team from the Big 10. Yet, the 3rd place team from the Big 10 is likely to go to a BCS game over the all the PAC 10 teams (except the winner) AND the 2nd place team from the Big 10 who they lost to at home? As Yakof Smirnoff used to say, "what a country!"
