How can you tell winter is near???? A plane flew over Beaver Stadium today and the football players weren't picking up garbage from the stands. And a couple of PSU offensive linemen were seen in Gander Mountain buying more arrows.

Usually in the winter at Penn State, the janitors have a mess to clean up in the library. However, those days are over now that Stanley Pringle has left town. Of course, I don't know who does JoePa's laundry.

Oh by the way.... I read today a few 4-5 star psu recruits are now said to be "soft recruits" for psu. I am sure it was psu's doing and actually backed off them because of grades. And not the players backing off. :shock:

There's no spin. Coxson was always worried about playing time (for some reason this kid thinks he should be guaranteed a starting spot wherever he goes) but apparently it has been cleared up.

With Easley, he left Oregon w/o committing to them, and his official is set for PSU this weekend. I feel good about it. Had he committed to Oregon, I'd be worried.

All schools who recruit at the top (like PSU this year) end up losing kids. If they DO lose those commits, the staff will learn a valuable lesson the hard way: Cutting ties with your plan-B kids is NEVER a good idea.
