If you want a chance to win a SHL championship, I'd say every win matters. Maybe a SHL Title isn't important to you but for a program that has never won one, I'd say it's one of their goals. As for last year, maybe they weren't ready to take the next step but who really cares about last year. I'm certain they don't.

What was the score of the Tussey/FM game? What happened? did bailey grab himself again?

I am a shade fan and tussey gave us all we could handle last year! Zimmerman is a heck of a ballplayer and so is chamberlain. Joel kaminsky, shade little point guard from last year, went to u.p.j so I know zimm. could play there if he can! Also shade pounded jordan miller and central cambria last year in th u.p.j tourney and he shot the ball 50 times and only had 21 points. Zimm is better than miller and he is quick as heck in the game I saw. I can't believe tussey lost to fannet metal! Wow! I know northern bedford isn't very good because I saw shade scrimmage them and take it to them. Smith from shade dominated them and gibbons is tough too, but this shade team isn't as good as last years team! I thought southern fulton with mellot would be tough! Smith is getting recruited by those schools mentioned for zimm. I know smith couls play at u.p.j also because in the summer leagues he tore people up down at robert morris and w.v.u, and these kids can play if you know what I mean. Tussey played shades aau team, but they were 9th, 10th, and 11th graders. That team didn't have tyler smith, who is one of the best player around here who is quick, can drive, makes foul shots, and drains the 3 pointer. Shade just beat somerset and forest hills in the boswell tourney for the championship, and smith got m.v.p. and had 31 and 24 pts in the 2 games and had 8 3-pointers. He is a good team leader at shade, and is the only senior starter, but they are on fire now and should be back in the district championship again! Gibbons is a great ballplayer at shade this year and all these kids worked real hard in the offseason. We lost our first couple games also tussey, but we are winning the rest and are off to a good start.
