Florida's Commitment List.

Post by The Ancient Enemy »

Has anyone else seen the Rivals commitment list for the Gators? They have about 6 or so kids who are reported as already signed? How did Florida persuade these kids to actually sign LOI's with so many holes on the staff at that time? Pretty impressive if true.

Florida had 3 5-star defensive targets in yesterday's all-american bowl. They landed all 3. IMO there is officially no debate as who the best recruiter in the nation is. The fact that they are landing these kids and getting them to sign early LOI's amid holes on the staff and all that turmoil is the most impressive recruiting feat I have ever seen. I cant believe they were getting those defensive kids with no defensive coordinator. The new DC could change the whole approach and those kids still committed and signed for Florida. Unreal.

There must be something either in the sun or the water down there.

I used to be a big fan of college recruiting but these high school all star games the past two weeks have made me sick. These kids have done nothing yet and they are sitting there making a circus out of which team they are picking by picking up a hat. One kid had to be told to make his choice they were running out of time. Another kid had to be asked if he was sure there time because he had flip flopped back and forth with some many teams.

I went to the game yesterday and it was okay, tickets were free. But that Under Armor game was a disaster.

Why would you want to commit to a school where the coach had just stated that he was going to take some time off and then came back the next day? It's really confusing to me as to why these players actually believe Meyer will be at Florida for their whole time at the University.

Because to 18 year old kids, the name on the front means more than the name on the back.
