D6 AA Opening round matches

Post by Manfred »

FH over PV 45-25? I understand PV's best guy, ? Hosterman ? didn't weigh in. Injury or ill? Oshaben gets win # 100 over Covalt by fall in 3:12. Anyone hear from Westy- Tyrone?

Yes, Hosterman was sick. Westmont over Tyrone: 41-18. I heard Mount Union beat Claysburg and Huntington beat Southern Huntington. Saturday's matchups are Huntington VS. Mount Union and Forest Hills VS. Westmont. Congratulations to Bob Oshaben on win # 100!!!! Good luck this weekend, Rangers.

Westmont match was actually 44-18. Good one between Kushner and Garbinsky with Garbinsky holding on 4-2.

see, i saw the rg/tk match a little differently. it was a good one, but i thought garbinsky had at least 2 back points in the second as well as the reversal he never got after coming all the way around on kushner before hasselrig called potentially dangerous. the reversal for kushner came with less than 30 seconds left, i thought ronnie controlled the match. jmo.

Garbinsky controlled it enough to win. It was a good two, even if it did happen in the final seconds. Hope to see these two go at it again. I wasn't checking the schedules and expected to see WH wrestling United, but I was happy to see Tyrone there, just wish it had been a more competitive match. Glad I got to see Garbinsky and Schopp.
