Two BIG LHAC games tonight
Two BIG LHAC games tonight
Johnstown (13-2, 6-0) vs. McCort (9-5, 6-1)
Central Cambria (12-4, 5-1) vs. Forest Hills (10-5, 5-1)
So who wins each game?
Johnstown beat McCort by 4 in the second meeting of the year between these teams and they have a 12 game winning streak heading into this one. McCort also was crushed by Johnstown in the Mtn Cat tournament but that was the weekend of the football state finals that McCort was playing in. I think Johnstown is probably still too much for the third time and they'll win this game to really put the clamps down on section 2.
In the other game, I think the two teams are a little more evenly matched just looking at past games. I haven't seen either team play yet this year, so it is tough to make a decision, but the game is at CC so maybe this makes them favorites by a bucket. Maxpreps doesn't have a report from the first game, so I'm assuming it was cancelled due to poor weather.
Anyway, it is a big night in the LHAC so I thought maybe there would be a post about these games.
I'll take Johnstown by 6 and CC by 4.

Re: Two BIG LHAC games tonight
I’m going to predict BM will win by 8 pts. The game will be close but they will stretch it to 8 due to foul shots. Also after having a long win streak and you get beat you have tendency to drop two in a row. So if BM wins tonight I predict Johnstown will lose there next game as well.
I like FH in the other match up. I think they will win by double digits to much Luke tonight.

Johnstown won by 6.
Re: Two BIG LHAC games tonight
Wow... I bet I couldn't do that again.
I picked JHS by 6 and they won by 6.
I picked CC by 4 and they won by 3.
In the high school football playoffs I was way off this year. At least this saves face for me a bit. I better not pick any more games this year.

Re: Two BIG LHAC games tonight
Maybe CC is a better "team" w/o Holsinger. Just sayin'. Was Thomas in foul trouble trying to cover Handlon? Anyone at the game?
It ain't over until it's over.
Re: Two BIG LHAC games tonight
No Thomas was not, FH's could not rebound the shooting for FH's was terrible. They looked really bad but CC didn't look any better. CC turned the ball over to much terrible passing. The refs were just down right bad lucky there wasn't a fight so many bad calls. It was by far the worse game I have attended in a while!! I disagree w/ the BH idea you just have to put him under the basket more and not at the 3 pt or foul line.
