NBC is solid and young. They will be the class of District 5 next year for sure, if not this year.

It appears SportsFanatic was pretty prophetic.

Thanks Tyler. I didn't know for sure that NB would lose but I know from years past that you never take CR lighty they always perform well at the duals. I also heard that NB was going over their lineup for the rematch with Bedford so that tells me that they were overlooking Ridge and for that they deserved to lose to Ridge. I guess next year they will take it one match at a time.

The year might not be over yet... But that was definately a disapointing loss for NBC. It also goes to show they are a young team yet and still not quite ready to be the top team in the area. Next year maybe... Maybe they got caught looking ahead, maybe CR is just a little better. Either way real good teams are ready for every match.

They could still be a contender for the D-5 individual tournament. But they will have to wrestle much better. Seeing them wrestle at Thomas they seem to be better suited for dual meets.

If they did that's my bad. I just remember seeing some kids taking some lumps that I thought would do better. I just assumed they didn't finish real high. Who placed 2nd? PC?

NB did place third at the Thomas tourny but have we all forgot that Bedford will be at the D-5 tourny also. I think that they are still the team to beat after winning the Thomas tourny for the fourth consectutive time. I don't think that they want or are willing to give up the reins of being D-5 team or individual champs yet. Bedford is still undefeated and they wrestle just as well as a team or as individuals. I know that they aren't as strong as they were in the past but they still have the team to beat. Bedford will have atleast four or maybe even six in the district finals barring any injuries. Possible district finalist for the Bisons Thomas, Maust,Easter,Ripple,Gibbons, and Krupa. It just depends on the seedings but I still think that atleast these six will go to regionals along possibly Roadman Geisler Weyandt Browell and Crawley. I guess we will find out in a couple of weeks.
