Does this kid have a full scholarship to McCort University, or is he a walk-on?

Qual does not play football but as far as i know he did not play organized basketball with Johnstown until 8th grade and he didn't see the floor much with the talent they had. But definitely will be the top PG in the area along with Watson from Johnstown. Johnstown sophomores have a lot of talent, but the McCort freshmen won the LHAC this season. Expect a lot of good McCort-Johnstown battles through the next few years.

You're right, Jerqual is the real deal, but don't annoint him as the best guard in the area just yet! You seem to be forgetting about Gallaher!!!!! What's up with DelRosarios, I didn't see his name in the boxscore from last night?

DelRosario is an average player, and on occasion will go off for a big game. He played at OMOS in grade school and he reminds me of a player that went to McCort two or three years back, Kent Malzi. Kid could shoot the lights out, wasn't a very strong dribbler of the ball and played OK defense. I think plain and simply put, the game caught up with DelRosario. Players are bigger, faster, and stronger. He also seems very hesitant about getting physical. Leave him open and he will hurt you, but if you get a hand in his face he is a non-factor. IMO

Not to stray from the topic, but about DelRosario......wasn't it on this board a couple months ago, someone had the temerity to compare him with Gallaher? Back to Wilson- the dude is real good, and will be a real big name in the LHAC in the next couple years.
It ain't over until it's over.

Mason to Malzi? must not have watched many mccort games.

Mason is at his best off the dribble driving to the basket. He is a very physically gifted guard. He does not have a great shot, but can make it when he needs too. Malzi was a dead set shooter. Where are the similarities?

But his name was not in the box score because he is out for the season. Crusher guards Wilson and O'Reilly really need to pick up the slack.

I agree with Crimson...no similarities at all with Malzi. What happened to Mason that he is out for the season??
