Cobaugh
I think a lot of credit has to go to the coach of Johnstown. For all the flack he took by the BC posters about not being able to relate to the players, not having practices earlier than some would think necessary and having a young group of kids, he has done quite well. I know those nay-sayers will point to the fact that the LHAC is weak, but !!!!
Now to purposely stir the pot, maybe, just maybe, Cobaugh was the driving force behind Roman????

Re: Cobaugh
You ever heard of the saying history always repeats itself? Well this looks mighty familiar to when Facino took over at Johnstown. He had a really great first season and then progressively got worse year after year. Even after bringing back the same team. I think this will be the case again. I will give credit were credit is due, they had a very good run this year even though the LHAC conference is down but you can only play who is on your schedule, and the Trojans had no control over that.
On the fact of the LHAC championship game Central Cambria should have not been in that game. Forest Hills should have played in that game but they did not take care of their business. The good thing is we will see what might have been the first round of the D6 playoffs. If Forest Hills wins they would have beaten Jtown twice and even though the Trojans will take the LHAC trophy home we all know who the best team in the LHAC will be. Also if Johnston loses to FH in the 1st round they will not even get a state playoff game. I wonder if we will think Cobaugh is still a great coach or the push behind Roman’s success. I highly doubt it.
Quick stat Johnstown is 2-2 outside Cambria County, or LHAC does not look good for a playoff run.

I find it interesting that Forest Hills lost to Conemaugh Valley, who did not make the WestPAC title game, Shade, the runner-up in the WestPAC and nearly lost to Portage, who played without there leading scorer!

Wilsonjet,
You stated facts. The top teams in the "Weak Pac" are just as strong or stronger than the big boys in the LHACK, Hack, hack this year. No doubt about it.

I find it funny that Conemaugh Valley lost to Bishop Carrol who didn't win more than 3 games in the LHAC........
