WilsonJet, If you are referring to me you are almost correct. With all honesty because I have no reason to lie, McCort didn't even know I played football til I showed up at camp. I then I showed up and missed camp do to surgery. Appendicitis is a horrible b#tch. Believe it or not none of the recruiting coordinators showed up at my junior high games. Also, it really was my choice. Just like I made the choice on where I went to college and where I was going to transfer to after I realized I hated Erie. If they wanted to recruit me, they should have started with my older brother who was twice the football player I ever was, but again they didn't. The idea that they would actively recruit a junior high player from the WestPac that they didn't even know existed or even wanted to go to McCort till he showed up in the fall is just stupid. So anyone who says that I, Micah Pears was recruited is speaking farce. Oh yeah, and said coach who talked to my father must have forgotten my Protestant father was working full time in Corning New York, and didn't frequent Dusty's.

CrusherFan - nobody is mad because Bishop McCort is good. The playing field is not level so they should be good. These are facts. Could you imagine if the public schools had no boundaries either? Again I am not mad I am just saying wonder if? It would then come down to which coach could make the schools program more attractive to the student/athlete. It would be like college!

The only beef I have is the "better than thou attitude" that comes from some BC, BG and McCort fans and players! Also I witnessed first hand on two occasions the Asst. Coach for McCort's girls act like a raving mad man on the bench. Screaming and yelling from the bench. An official walked over and said something to him and I am sure it wasn't scream and yell more at me Coach I appreciate it!! I asked a female McCort fan who he was and she told me as proud as a peacock who it was. I would like to see what she would of said if it was the opposing teams Asst. Coach acting like that. She would have probably had a different answer.
