Being a biased Sideling Hill Fan I will pick Quarterfinal winners as follows:

Tussey Mt.
S. Fulton
Forbes Road (based on being at home vs Fannett-Metal and assuming they maintain momentum by winning at NBC tonight)
NBC (especially if they draw Shade and if they would win at home and get momentum themselves vs Forbes Road tonight)

SF over TM in finals
Loser of tonights FR vs NBC game to get revenge in Consolation Game.

I think it is safe to say that the sideling hill was the best boys single "A" conference in the area now.Logic being westpac has winning record against lhac this year and sideling hill owning district 5 "A" playoffs .Congrats to a great year for a conference that gets the respect of rodney dangerfield. Playoffs should be intersting beyond districts.

I have to give credit where credit is due. usatf oldguy, you called this one early on. The Sideling Hill league produced some quality A basketball this year!
Good luck in the tournament!

Thanks muddle,it's is refreshing to see some props given to the conference. Of course I'm sure LHAC titan and a few others will bash it!

Third time a charm for Southern Fulton tonight - heard they won by 8 over Tussey tonight - great job by the Sideling Hill teams in District V "A" playoffs - Southern, Tussey & Forbes. Next round should be interesting how far each of these 3 teams will advance in the state playoffs - good luck to each team!

The LHAC will have to wait until next year to get their "pats" on the back. This year they are second fiddle. Sorry, that's just reality!

I was extremely dissapointed when I opened the trib this morning not to see any coverage of the boys 5A game. So I jumped online to check out the daily american and they didn't have anything either, but the altoona mirror had a very good write up on the game. I realize that Tussey and SF aren't in the coverage area but with a championship game being played at upj you would think that those papers would at least have a small article about the game. Wouldn't they have already had reporters there covering the girls game?
