At least I can admit the sliding hill has some good teams. But nowhere near the talent of the LHAC. Tussey would be a little over .500 this year in the LHAC. The others you mentioned would be sub .500. That is a fact. When the teams you are mentioning are playing McConnelsburg and Hyndman, night in and night out, they are going to have success. But playing McCort, Westmont, BC, Forest Hills, Johnstown, CC, etc 3 times a week, they wouldnt have a chance. Everyone one of these teams have a "Randy Zimmerman". Not sure if you ever saw the kid (Gallaher) from FH play?? Or the point guard (link)for BC? How bout the bigs from CC? or Johstown's starting 5.
I am not saying Forbes, Fannett, SF, Tussey and NBC were not good teams. I am saying they couldnt and wouldnt compete in the LHAC.
Regardless of how far TM is going in the A playoffs. That doesnt determine their league is better. LHAC is mostly AAA and AA. Sliding Hill is mostly all A and 1 AAA/big AA school.

Not sure if any of the LHAC kids that you compare with Zimmerman have the guts/heart of RZ.

The intangibles set him apart from so many kids in this area. He guards the other teams best player. He takes the rath of Coach Bailey night in and night out. He plays through pain as witnessed in the last game with Cornell...a badly sprained ankle and returns after getting it taped and scoring about 15 pts. while hobbling up and down the court.

Sure, the LHAC has better competition...but to compare gutsy effort after gutsy effort and then to see a winner...you have to look no further than Mr. Zimmerman in this area.

You are right though. If he were enrolled at FH or Central Cambria, he would stand out, but not as much as a class A school...but that is where he plays and will be remembered fondly by many fans of TM and Bedford/Fulton/Somerset counties for years to come.

Dont put words in my mouth. I never bad mouthed the Zimmerman kid. I only used him as an example. the LHAC has a kid of that talent level and work ethic. Link played most of the season with a broken thumb. Holsinger with a bad back. But please do not make it look like I was putting the zimmerman boy down. Only stating that the LHAC has about 11 kids of his ability.

There is no way the LHAC has 11 kids with Zimmerman's ability.

Shocker seems to me you are in fantasy land. The facts are here 1. Lhac had a losing record against the westpac this year the sideling hill didn't.2. Shade who beat the great forest hills team you talk about finished fourth in districts behind three yes three sideling hill teams.3.For the second year in a row 2 sideling hill teams have beaten WPIAL teams ,the same conference you held in such high regard a few posts ago.4.Tussey handed cornell a 20 point loss. The wpials highest public A finisher, yet were a runnerup to a sideling hill team(SF) at districts. One more thing tussey .500 in the lhac this year, what a joke lay off the crack pipe shocker. WAKE UP!!!

Im still hitting the pipe old man  Or maybe it is just knowing that you can't argue with an old guy who thinks he knows it all and doesn't have a clue. I really wasnt going to respond because you are like a little 8 year old who has to have the last word. I was content making you feel good about yourself since it is obvious you have some issues. And please spare us your arguments of who has the better conference. Ask Dave Bailey, Kent Hendershot Brandon Treece and your boy Meck and they will flat out tell you they would NEVER want to play in the LHAC. That is all the facts you need!
Now go ahead and give us your last word.
Congratulations to coach Dave Bailey and the Titans on a well deserved win this evening. And also to Kent Hendershot and the SF Indians for a fine showing for District 5.

1 more thing. There probably isnt 11 Randy Zimmermans in the LHAC this year but I could name 11 kids who if you put them on a sliding hill team they are very capable of being a Zimmerman type player. The teams in the LHAC are much more balanced and kids are surrounded by great athletes.
Here are just a few former LHAC alumni who went on to play college ball. Paul Weatherly (UPJ) - Imagine him in the sliding hill!!! Jordan Miller (UPJ) Dan Holsinger (Grove City). Ian Vescovi (UPJ). Brian Holsinger (McDonalds All American game invitee). 2 kids from Westmont. One at Mt Aloyisous and the other I can't remember where he is at. the kid from Johnstown who is at Division 1 st francis (Hoffman). Dzaibo (both of them) to PSU Altoona. These are only a few I can remember or think of from the last 2-3 years. If I had more time I could find a few more for you. But I cant get off this dang crack pipe and this crack hoe is skeezing on me so I must go for now. But when you have time please tell me how many kids from the sliding hill can you say are playing at Division 1, Division 2 or 3 and or invited to play in the prestigious McDonalds All America game? God this crack is good!

So Holsinger was not invited to play in the McDonald's All-American Game, someone from around this area nominated him to play in it, which is rediculous because he is not a top 5 player in his conference, better yet maybe not even the best on his team.

You know shocker you are pretty amazing. You try to say that the lhac is better than the sideling hill thats spelled S I D E L I N G H I L L this year. All I ever said was they(sideling hill) had a better conference this year. You are the one who belittled and try to underate this conference, read your early posts. Now you try to throw past players into the mix lets not go there I said this year.Don't bring football, private schools, past years and all this other garbage into it.Your statements made you look stupid such as tussey would be a .500 team in the lhac.Does the lhac have an elite 8 team this year? Don't forget I am saying this year. One more time because you are a little slow THIS YEAR! Give the conference the credit they deserve and let it rest!

First off I did give credit where it is do so maybe learn how to read!! I said they had a good league. Just does not compare to the LHAC. they have good players as well and 2 teams made a real nice run in the playoffs. With that said :

Ask any coach in the sliding hill ( I am sure you are on a first name basis with all of them) if they would have liked to play in the LHAC THIS YEAR and THIS YEAR only and get back to me with their answer. In the meantime I will be hitting the pipe and you can get your last word in....................................................................

cant wait to hear what coach says they wish they could have played a LHAC schedule.....THIS YEAR
