Thanks Deliverance. I wasn't sure what the dreadful Lions did against this high quality team from the NEC. Now I know.

There are 347 Division I college basketball teams. Only 65 make the tournament. In my book, Robert Morris is quality enough. I remember when Penn State's regular season was over, and how DeChellis said before the Big Ten Tournament that is was a NEW season for the Nits. And what if the Nits had won that tournament and made it to the dance with a losing record. What would you guys have said then????

I have said it numerous times: Every single Big East fan owes SO MUCH to West Virginia University. WVU has carried the banner of that conference in football, and now in basketball. Had it not been for WVU playing solid football in several BCS bowls over the past years that conference would be even a step below the laughing stock that it is now. Now WVU is charged with saving face for the "best basketball conference in the world." This all must be of EXTREME frustration for all Pitt fans.

That one isn't going to last long. I'm sure they were really hoping Cornell could find a way to win that one. WVU has now beaten #15, #10, and #11 seeds. Let's see how they do against a #1 seed. Personally, I don't like their chances.

Can't believe I am doing this, but here goes.

I hate WVU. They have an overrated football program that will never be as good again as it was under Dick Rod, and they have a sleazeball basketball coach who I guarantee you is up to no good. WVU also has horrible academics and will accept any athlete or prospective student with no questions asked. The only saving grace of that whole dump of a city is that the actual fans are some of the best human beings in the world.

They deserve a better bball coach, and they deserve a university who cares about academics.

The only good thing about WVU playing Kentucky would be that one of the two biggest a-holes in NCAA bball won't make it to the next round. I hope John Calipari gets diarreha. That a-hole should have been banned from the ******** sport. Sorry for the fake vulgarity, Coach, but I get a little carried away.

As for WVU losing though, and who they have beaten... Dude, those teams won their games and advanced. They BEAT the teams that were supposed to be better than them. I just think that this argument is idiotic. Its not like they played Penn State 3 times in a row.

And another thing, and I don't mean to single out Deliverance, but haven't we seen tons of upsets in every year of the tournament? So why is it so irrational to bet money on West Virginia?

As I mentioned before, I will be rooting against WVU. It's a rivalry thing. And, really, why should Pitt fans be frustrated with how the Big East has done in the tournament. Let's see the final rankings AFTER the tournament is over. I'll even let coach pick out the poll he wants to use.

Go ahead and do it. It's irrational because all you have to do is compare the talent levels between Kentucky and West Virginia. Kentucky has one of the most talented teams I've ever seen in College Basketball. WVU's type of play may slow them down a little bit, but I don't see WVU really having a chance to win. I dislike Calipari just like you, but the guy is a genius. The NCAA lets him get away with this stuff, so it's their fault. Let me know how betting on WVU works out for you.
