Hey wallpaper. When you say that the "uncertainty of who was going to coach at Westmont" helped Merriman "make a decision to go to an established program", isn't THAT considered transferring for athletic reasons, which is against PIAA rules???? So, are you saying that Merriman transferred for athletics?

Happens all the time man. District 6 committee still gets hate mail because of the investigation of a basketball player transferring from Richland to Johnstown years ago. I heard it directly from one of the investigators that it will be a cold day in H_ _ _ before they come this way again. :shock:

Where's wicked? Under the baseball topic, it was mentioned that one of McCort's 2 best baseball players this season transferred to BM this school year. He is a junior.

El-Moldo, Ask yourself why would a kid transfer from Johnstown to play for McCort's baseball team? McCort's baseball team is really not that good, plus I believe that Johnstown has one of the if not the best coach in the area. It doesn't make sense.

Anyway, I have heard the reason why. But that's not for me to post on a public forum. If you want to believe that the reason for the parents to pay tuition to McCort is for their son to play baseball for McCort, then go ahead.

I knew you would come up with some excuse. Just surprised it took you so long. Guess you really had to think up that one, and it really wasn't that good. The point is, a kid who is one of McCort's 2 best players this year on their baseball team transferred to McCort this year as a junior. So please add him to your list of upperclass transfers.
