Okay analyst let me ask you this...
You are in the NFL and you decide to break up with your girlfriend. She gets pissed off and tells some people you "sexually assaulted her" and she calls the cops. You are now all over the garbage ESPN broadcasts as a "rapist". 3 days later she comes to her senses and drops the charges. Then your boss suspends you for 4 games because, even though you didnt do it, you still made the NFL look bad. Tell me how that is fair. It sure as hell looks to me like the NFL wants to making millions on players yet doesnt want to take their side in crunch time. Nice employer, and nice policy.

TAE, what if it was Analyst's second girlfriend while he was with his first employer? It already happened once and then he put himself in the position for it to happen again. If I own my own business and you get warned about what you do outside of work, then you cross me and put yourself in the same situation again to be accused, you're going to be in trouble. He was fine after the first time he was accused of rape. After the second accusation that accused him of assault, he had to be punished? Was it harsh? Yes. However, Goodell has set a precedence of the league and you best live up to it. Roethlisberger did not do it. He got what was coming to him.

Let's clarify a few things:
1. His first run in was a civil suit. I could sue anyone in civil court if I wanted to.
2. Just because ESPN says something, it does not mean it is 100% true. People really got to learn to look at all things they read on the internet, see on TV, here on the radio, ect. objectively. I try to explain this to my friends all the time. ESPN is not gospel.
3. Why does Ben have to be the Steeler's leader? There are plenty of other people on that team that can be the leader. The media just always portrays the QB as this figure head that defines an entire organization. Maybe Ben just happens to be a really good QB. I don't a problem with him not being a leader.
4. Ben probably doesn't care what people think about him. Unlike 95% of sports fans, he may not start his day with an hour of SportsCenter. That is probably why he is always in the news for his off field lifestyle. I don't expect him to change nor do I want him to. Some people just don't give a *******. I would classify someone who rides his motorcycle without license and a helmet in that category.
5. To the best of my knowledge Ben did not even appear in court for the GA incident. So I do not know any other employer in the U.S. that would suspend someone when they didn't even appear in court and biggest blemish on their criminal record is a fine for riding a motorcycle without a permit.
Will someone please answer to me why Ben has to live a model lifestyle? I know I wouldn't want people telling me how I should live my life.

Heard something on ESPN Radio tonight, "So how come the Oakland Raider Coach Cable with all his allegations of violent behavior has not been suspended?"
