War Memorial Mis-Management
So the former manager of the War Memorial was busted for not paying taxes on approx. $500,000 in cash he deposited into his personal checking account over the past five years. Unbelievable. This is just the money he deposited in the past five years. He worked there for 28. How much more did he take over the years? How much more did he keep for walking around cash that never got to the Bank? How much were his co-workers and Authority members taking also? How many shows/events/organizations didn't make money? how many never returned to Johnstown because they didn't make money? how many went out of business? How many moved to South Carolina? Is it a stretch to say that this crook directly lead to the Chiefs leaving Johnstown? They were the primary tenant, and therefor the primary source of his take.
What a shame.
What a shame.

Re: War Memorial Mis-Management
The Chiefs had a lot of problems, but the contract w/ the War Memorial, IMO, was the biggest one. Unreal.
