PSU never offers players with low grades? WRONG!!!
You heard it here first: Shyquawn Pullium is headed to PREP SCHOOL because he didn't qualify academically.
Explain away, boys. While you're at it, talk to me about Wedderburn, Enis, and Felder.
PSU=HypocriteU
I'm waiting for your response NitWIts.

Re: PSU never offers players with low grades? WRONG!!!
I've already addressed Pullium's situation 26 times.
What Titan once again failed to mention was how the Penn State staff waited until way, way late in the recruiting season to offer Pullium a written offer. The reason for that was b/c they wanted to see if he was serious about getting his grades up.
Oh, by the way, Pullium stated that Pitt told him they would take him regardless of his final grades.
Next?

Re: PSU never offers players with low grades? WRONG!!!
Nice myth about Pullium, TAE...Yet another likely story from a brainwashed member of the Paterno Youth...
PSU took Pullium because they needed a quality recruit at his position. Penn State takes players like Pulliam and the host of other non and partial qualifiers, and brainwashed Nits like you hate it when PSU IS EXPOSED FO THE FRAUD THAT THEY ARE. Kindly EXPLAIN away Felder, Wedderburn, Enis, and more...Tell me where those imbeciles fit into the GRAND EXPERIMENT, and while you're at it explain how arrowgate, prank calls, DUI, sexual assault, street fighting, murder, and more are part of Joe's narcisstic Grand Experiment...
PSU having high academic standards is a tall tale, a fraud, and a flat out lie, but you'll never see it through the blue and white brainwashing that the senile old gnome has given you. Period.

Re: PSU never offers players with low grades? WRONG!!!
Nope, once again, you are mistaken.
Pullium was a heavy PSU lean for months but there were concerns over the quality of opponents he was playing against, and b/c his grades were borderline (DUH, he didnt get accepted anyways, knucklehead). The staff told him if he was serious about gettinga degree and was serious about Penn State, they wanted to wait to see him prove it. During this time, Pitt (and a few others) were throwing the kitchen sink at Pullium. Pitt Told him that if he committed to them, he would meet the admissions requirements w/o any additional classes or any additional effort in his senior season.
Let's just pause right here for a second. You have Penn State, who a few idiots on this website rant and rave that they do NOT have higher admissions requirements, and PSU is telling this kid he is not going to get accepted unless he gets his grades up, and then you have Pitt telling him you are ALREADY accepted. Now... How is this possible, if Penn State does not have higher admissions than Pitt? I guess it is possible since there is a ridiculous track record of the same exact scenario playing out amongst many, many great players. Fitzgerald was not accepted at UM, Minn, OR Penn State (Pitt), McCoy was not accepted at PSU or Miami (Pitt),Todd Thomas was not accepted at PSU or UM (Pitt), Tavon Austin at WVU, Noel Devine at WVU, every kid who has every played at WVU, etc, etc, etc.
Then you have Darrell Givens, a 4-star CB who committed to Penn State, was taking summer school to get accepted last fall, did not meet the admissions, and guess who took him w/ no questions asked? Rutgers. This kid had offers to Ohio State and other big schools and selected Rutgers when Penn State denied his admissions? Do you not understand ths yet? 1+1 does not equal 36. This is pretty simple mathematics from where I am sitting.
Pullium got his grades up, but did not meet the requirements, so he will head wherever he heads. That's 2 highly regarded CBs in back to back seasons that Penn State had to turn away. Then you have Dorsey at UM, could not meet the requirements, guess where he ended up? Louisville.
Can you name me ONE kid... EVER... that was denied admissions from a Big East university and ended up at a Big Ten school?
There's no comparison.

Re: PSU never offers players with low grades? WRONG!!!
Typical PSU brainwashed doublespeak, TAE.
I am still waiting to hear about Gus Felder's admission to PSU. 1+1=36 there, right? I'll bet Gus answered that 1+1=36 on his PSU Math 101 final exam, let alone before he was admitted. They probably gave him partial credit for that answer for showing up and trying.
After that, explain the Wedderburn and Enis admissions.
Then, kindly explain how the B10 is the ONLY MAJOR D1 CONFERENCE IN THE COUNTRY that accepts unlimited partial and on qualifiers.
PSU folks absolutely HATE IT when these things are exposed and never, ever offer and explanation, they just avoid it.
I'll be waiting to hear from you on these cases.

Re: PSU never offers players with low grades? WRONG!!!
Why is it when a psu recruit goes to a prep school TAEnima sugar coats it and makes it look like the coaches made this kid go and they are looking out for his best interests, etc, etc. And magically this kid becomes "mr academia" when he arrive on campus at psu.
But when a Pitt recruit goes to a prep school he is a kid who psu never recruited and is too dumb to get in to any other schools. Come on TAE - get real. psu is no different than any other school. You are fooling nobody with your overopinionated views.
Daryl "where can I get my next blunt" Clark is no diff than Shady McCoy. Fitzgerald is no different than Curtis (P)Enis....other than a stellar NFL career for the Pitt Alum. Tell me about Kerry Collins academics at PSU while you are spewing your facts!
If I didnt have to go to work today, I would find you a # of kids who went to the Big Ten (psu especially) who Pitt never recruited.
One more thing....if the Big East is so poor academically, then why the heck is Notre Dame a part of it in basketball?

Re: PSU never offers players with low grades? WRONG!!!
I want answers to the following issues from all of you Harvard/MIT/PSU Cult Followers:
-Explain Gus "Prop 48" Felder's admission to PSU
-Explain Floyd Wedderburn's admission to PSU
-Explain Curtis Enis's admission to PSU
-Explain how LaVon Chisley (now a convicted murderer doing life for stabbing his former roommate 93 times over drug money) fits into THE GRAND EXPERIMENT
-Explain how PSU can claim such "tough" admission standards, yet accept an unlimited number of partial and non-qualifiers onto their athletic teams (along with the rest of their Big 10 counterparts).
The bottom line is that PSU's Football Cult absolutely HATES IT when they're exposed like this and will never offer a logical explanation for these things. They will just continue to preach how "elite" their academic standards and "elite" standards for player conduct (Do I need to repost the list of 80-90 PSU players arrested over the last decade???)
The PSU cult thinks that they are better than everyone else, but the fact is they are really no better than anywhere else (and in fact WORSE) when it comes to academic standards and tolerance for player conduct.

Re: PSU never offers players with low grades? WRONG!!!
I dont even remember Gus Felder. If you're gonna go back 10+ years, I'm gonna keep bringing up Dorsett and basket weaving.
Didn't Enis have to go the prep route b/c he WASN'T QUALIFIED ACADEMICALLY?
Why stop at Fitzgerald and McCoy? There's millions of kids who were great athletes who ended up at places like Ole Miss or Oklahoma who were lazy or stupid in the classroom. If you have a learning disability, that's different. But if you are just LAZY like McCoy was at McDevitt, that's fair game. Here's one for you... rank Gore gets accepted at Miami but McCoy couldn't even match FRANK GORE'S admissions scores? Do you not remember the hub-bub over Gore's grades?
Shocker, you can cry foul all you want, but you guys cannot accuse Joe Paterno of accepting kids who ALREADY have character issues prior to coming to Penn State. How about Elijah Fields, does that ring a bell? Fields was the 1st kid in almost 4 years who was a 4-star recruit (or greater) that had offers from Pitt and PSU and chose Pitt. The only kid who MIGHT be the exception is Nix, and I am not even sure he had a written offer. Now, in the 2011 class, Wright has a written offer to both and so does Chestnut. But February is a long ways away, sir.
The number of kids with offers to both, and who chose PSU over Pitt, is staggering. Even Pitt fans who follow recruiting will admit to that.
Titan, if they accepted "non-qualifers" Dorsey would be at Michigan and Rodriguez would not have had a documented battle w/ admissions over his acceptance. You guys don't get it yet. One of the main reasons the Big Ten "sucks" is b/c more and more kids with bad grades are going to schools who accept them w/o any questions asked. Has it ever occured to you that this might be part of the problem?

I dont even know what that means. Are you saying in general that there are kids who went to PSU that Pitt didn't target? How about I pick all the names out of all the kids Pitt has extended offers to in PA that Penn State wouldn't have touched w/ a ten foot pole? Are you kidding? If I didnt have to go to work today, I would find you a # of kids who went to the Big Ten (psu especially) who Pitt never recruited.
No, unfortunately, they ARE, and it has hurt their football program tremendously over the years. There's dozens of kids we could have at least targeted that were great players. But if their grades are too low, they don't get past admissions. Haven't you ever applied to college? Every school has requirements for SATs and HS GPAs. I forgot, you are still working on your GED. Godspeed.psu is no different than any other school

Felder - I dont remember
Enis - WENT TO PREP SCHOOL
Show me Chisely's criminal record prior to PSU. Then show me if Fields was in any trouble before he went to Pitt.
I'm not 70 and live with my grandmother, so I dont know about Wedderburn either.
Maybe you oughta do your own research.
