Listen, chuckles. If there are 300 more boys in a high school than their opponent's high school, I can almost guarantee you the bigger school wins that game. Especially if those schools are good enough that they are traveling around the country to take on other high school teams. If you have a 300+ higher male enrollment, and you LOSE, there is something the matter with you. This is like Gateway taking on Portage. Sure, Portage has a chance. A dismal, dismal one. This is not like it is in college where teams all have the same scholarship count. Anybody who would take on a team who has 300+ more boys than them, in a non-league game that will generate national attention, should have their head examined.

Psycho, I am not sure if anyone told you or not but the AFL merged with the NFL 44 years ago. Joe Namath hasn't played a game since 1975. Those antique jerseys they wear on television every now and then are actually throwbacks. The NFL runs them out for nostalgic purposes, i.e. to try and make a few extra bucks. They don't really wear them anymore. Next time, pay close attention and you will see that the helmets they are wearing are actually made of new kinds of plastics with face guards. They are not made of leather. I'm sorry, you probably didn't even know that because your tv doesn't work since they switched everything to digital a few years ago.

Do we ever have a florida or texas team coming up to pennsylvania during the later part of the football season? some snow weather? how would the southern teams fit in then? It would be interesting to see.

What purpose would that serve? For everything else, you have to go to Florida, not the other way around.
