What if Carroll loses the next 8 games? and Portage finishes 7-2. Your argument goes right out the window. BC beat an average Richland team and a bad Westmont team, lets not crown them the District champs. And why leave a team that you would have been the best player to be third or 4th best?

Are you kidding? It's like being a free agent and joining the Yankees expecting to be in the world series. He based his MOVE on POTENTIAL!!!!!!! If it doesn't work out, so what. He rolled the dice and decided that it was BEST ATHLETICALLY for him in football. In wrestling, either way things stay exactly the same.

I believe at BV Julock sat out one game until a meeting was held and a couple more games because BV actually punished him if he did not practice. At BC practice was something he opted out of and still seemed to hit the field each weekend.

Even if Kephart stayed at Portage and they had a winning season, they would once again go no where in the playoffs. Year in and year out they win one or two playoff games and then their DONE. They play no comptition all season. Good example the Bellwood game.

Youngbuck you mention a few players from BCs past teams, do you think by them transfering to BC made any difference for them athletically? This is a serious question. Not being smart at all. Both athletes transfered for athletic reasons, in fact I think Jut, as you called him, was actually found ineligible but the decision was turned when Blacklick realized that "only" the player is punished by these transfer violations not the school. Neither played a down of college football.

guines - BC has not done a thing for four or five years and this season will be no different. They have played two weak teams. If they knock off Forest Hills this week then I might feel a little different. As for Portage, I guess if you do not win the District Title and State Championship your season is a flop.

I think winning District Six is a BIG deal! Having a winning season in Westpac? No comparison!

I would like to clear this up once and for all . The real reason for his transfer not that it is anyone's business is during the wrestling season David Kephart advanced to states then he also wrestled nationals. During this time he missed some test in school he requested his home work in advance to the tournaments and completed it he also scheduled the make up test and competed those also however the grades from the exam's were never entered. The result of this non-action from this so called educator was a far lower grade for the marking period than what he had actually earned. When this was brought to the attention of the administration of the Portage Area School District the reply was that this teacher was retiring next year and there was nothing that the principal could really do about it . When it was brought to the attention of the superintendent he said he would look into it with no results. When we requested another teacher we were told
unfortunately for you Mr Kephart he is the only teacher that teaches this class
. As of today the grades still have not been corrected. After countless attempts to contact the principal about this and other educational issues with my other son Cody he was always to busy to speak to me. However he could find the time last Friday to go with Gouse to fight the eligibility of a young man who transferred and will now miss out on the chance to play his junior year. I really hope that they are proud of there self you really got that 16 year old boy. You are really tough. My advise to them is to stay in their little high school world because you would be eaten alive in the real world. Unlike you pathetic people my son's education takes precedence over sports. Perhaps if Portage Area administration would put the effort into the proper conduct of their educators as they do into football it would be a better school but it will never compare to the education that my sons are receiving at Bishop Carroll. I would recommend Bishop Carroll to any one athlete or not. You would not believe the positive effect it has had on my sons. P.S. don't let the money be an issue after all what kind of price can you put on your child's future and it's really not expensive. By the way other teachers teach that course and teach it very well ! Just in case you haven't figured it out yet I am their Father!!!!!!
