Lakers, In the Week 2 scores thread you didn't see overly excited with Forest Hills. pointing out Richland handed them that game, well Carroll beat Richland and they are coached better then Richland. They have 2 good players that are capable of stopping the run, and a RB thats fast and will factor in on both sides of the ball. Let's face it Rizzo is a Tackle playing Running Back and Linebacker. BC has more speed. Sponsky plays his best games against the better teams....last year's Forest Hills game was close, and they played McCort tough last year and in '07. This will be a good game.

Re: LHAC Week 3.
My critique of FH was relative to them being handed the LHAC title already, and how they will fare against Tyrone. I don't think BC will beat FH, they might have what it takes.. but expect a motivated FH team after a few people calling the upset. I'm certainly not overly excited with FH, which is true testament to how good our program in FH is. Two blowouts, and I have the nerve to call them overrated. The teams match up physically, but FH has the better football players, and the kids who have been there before. Putting them on upset alert all will wake them up IMO

yeah I see where your coming from, Haven't gotten a chance to take in a game yet. But They have to be the best team out there. And they wouldn't come close to last year's Forest Hills and McCort.

Johnstown is as good or close to Forest Hills. When they are on, they will be a hard team to beat. But just like many Johnstown teams, they have the ability to beat themselves. We'll see how it plays out

I think somerset can come out and beat mccort. they have good backs in shrock and Phil ickes and they found a really good target to throw to in Jordan willkow, mccort is gonna have a tough time guarding him hes the real deal!
Re: LHAC Week 3.
No offense, but if McCort loses to Somerset then the wheels have truly come off the bus

Don't see it happening. McCort's coaching staff is too good to let that happen. I think the Crushers are poised for 4 straight wins
Re: LHAC Week 3.
BC has a shot at Forest Hills. Sponsky always maximizes the potential of his team. He modifies his schemes every year to match the talent on his team. BC is definitly hungry and that will help their cause.
McCort will be OK, they might lose some close games, but I guarantee you they will be close! Kenny and the Crew might not be football geniuses, but they teach the fundementals well and ususally have disciplined teams.
Richland, they just need to pull it together. Everything about them is convoluted. As far as Rizzo a tackle playing RB? Come on now. The kid might be more of a true fullback playing RB, but is clearly an effective ball carrier. Crimson09Crazy, you are just bitter that he is not at McCort since once upon a time he was a parochial titan.
