Justice it is

Post by Crimson09Crazy »

Well my thought in order to receive Depth Chart justice you would have to be on the Depth Chart? Haha well Douglas has a hearing and is very unlikely that he will ever be a Pitt Panther. Looks like CalU got a new Running Back......And Dan Mason has been moved to 2nd team for being involved, and won't start against Miami. Gruder moves to Middle Linebacker, Roberts gets the start and Williams reamins. Sucks but its the way it is. Will he play in the game, most likely. Not starting though.

No Romeus...Mason in limited action and Decicco and Taglianetti are still injured. getting a little nervous.

I would hope someone wouldnt be on the depth chart for a DUI Hit and Run. People go to jail for that. Could be Lavon Chisley's roomie.

Wanny really dropped the hammer on Mason. It sucks he won't play until the 2nd or 3rd play of the game.

Kirk,

What more do you want? Douglas will be gone, Wanny said as much today. He was Pitt's starting kick returner.

Mason is guilty only of stupidity in making a bad choice by being in the car with Douglas, but apparently he was not drinking. I can only assume that if he was in the car that the Pittsburgh City Police gave him a breathalyzer test as well and that he came out under .08. I have read nothing about Mason being drunk or drinking, only that he was a passenger in the car. I think Mason's demotion to 2nd team is appropriate, given that he was only guilty of making a bad choice. Besides, I am sure that the anti-Pitt local media would jump all over it if Mason would have been cited for underage drinking. You know it and I know it.

In the meantime, do yourself a favor: Instead of wasting your time with futile attempts trying to erroroneously deduce that Pitt's program is out of control when discipline is being metted out swiftly and fairly, try looking at the reality in your own back yard and start worrying about THIS VIDEO and the mental and emotional stability of your head coach, especially from about 1:10-1:25...

I could also post my list of 75 PSU criminals again, complete with documentation but you should have it memorized by now.

Speaking of that list, can we get an updated list from the early 1900's when Pitt started their amazing run of national titles? I believe a few Pitt players were arrested for showdowns and grand theft of a horse and buggy.

:?: Now if that wasn't and 8th grader reply, I don't know what is! Please, where is the substance?
Admit it Herbie, Titan is 100% correct about Mason and Douglass. What more do you want? Besides the bunch of nonsense you know yourself isn't true... Horse and buggy, amazing run at national titles....geez, get real man.

PSU's national title in 1986 was legit. So was PItt's a decade earlier.

However, was PSU's 1982 title any more legit than the other 6 PItt won?

PSU lost BY THREE TDs to a FOUR LOSS team (Alabama) during the 1982 regular season, then benefitted from cheating Uncle Donnie's call (see video below) to beat Nebraska at home. As you can see, Mike Guman's father Don secured PSU's first National Title by making this call.

PSU's MVP that season was Don Guman. I am sure you'll agree after watching the video.

So, the next time you want to poke fun at Pitt's 7 National Titles from the early 1900s, look at this video and tell me that PSU's title in 1982 was not secured through the work of a cheating official who is the father of a PSU football alum. Kind of makes up for Little Mikey getting stuffed at the goal line in '79, huh?
