It was a 24-0 win against a MAC team. We don't have any Big Easy teams on the schedule this year to get our style points.

You have gotten PSU's leftovers for the past 2 decades in recruiting. The one's that couldn't get into PSU academically you have gotten and made your anointed ones. Look at the past 10 years and tell me how many years Pitt beat PSU recruiting (this one isn't over yet as well). There is a reason why this staff is not recruiting and I will get into my theory on that at another time.

Last 5 years. 2 BCS games. 2 11-1 records. Wins over LSU, Ohio State twice, Nebraska, Tennesee, Florida State, Michigan, etc. 2 last second plays from playing for the National Title.

Seriously. What has Pitt done the last 5 years outside of beating WVU on the road when they were ranked 2nd in the nation?

I'd love to here this theory. The one Penn State fan who actually knows PSU recruiting is worrying about it. Seriosuly. Pitt is on the verge of getting the two best Backs in the Northeast and the 4th best Back from Florida reached out to play at Pitt. A solid 4 star back from WV sought after PSU, and now theres 2nd guessing on PSU's side. Why? they have 4 commitments at this point. Someone has to play for PSU.

Unlike Pitt, Penn State tries to recruit to their needs. Does Pitt really need more stud running backs? Or do they perhaps need some stud linemen to block for these guys? Pitt can keep racking up the stud RB's all they want. You can only hand one of them the ball at a time.
