Is Tyrone legit?
Re: Is Tyrone legit?
 Tyrone is always legit in the regular season. Until the playoffs arrive. They have an advantage with their schedule of coming in to the playoffs healthy. Then they meet someone in the LHAC!

You're joking right? Tyrone has more football state championships than all the LHAC put together.wallpaper wrote::shock: Tyrone is always legit in the regular season. Until the playoffs arrive. Gotta agree with the consensus here, but my man has a point. Past 4-5 years,He is right. Tyrone hasn't won one since '04. And have been eliminated by an LHAC team the past 6 seasons. You can't look past that. Nobody on Tyrone has ever won the district or for that matter beat an LHAC team. Could be wrong, probably am wrong.
Re: Is Tyrone legit?
Old "Kiltman" would have mentally projected out every game for the rest of the season for Tyrone and FH and computed all the points earned and had all the seeds figured out by now.
It ain't over until it's over.

Yea I miss old Kilty...is he still alive?
Anyways, back to topic the longer you watch High School sports in this area the more you realize AA football has really gone in cycles the past 20 years. The recent slump (I use this term loosely) of Tyrone is like the FH "slump" from 95 - 01. A lot of good teams, but just couldn't get the bounce to win the District Title.
Make no mistake, these kids playing varsity football for Tyrone grew up watching their school dominate D6 football. Tyrone football is alive and well, and they are still right there. Heck, they almost stole that game form Forest Hills last year.
Granted, they have lost some tough games to some LHAC opponents over the past years, but those again were some pretty good LHAC teams. The only LHAC team this year that may be able to beat Tyrone is Forest Hills. And that will be one heck of a contest if it does happen.
Tyrone is an outstanding program.
