I'm not a PSU koolaid drinker, but Crimson you wanna give me 14 points vs Iowa? I'd take that bet in a heartbeat.

Im not expert but I know after 3 games I don't think I can make the judgement that PSU is an awful team. I accept your opinion, but you've also mentioned you didn't even tune in to most of the PSU Alabama game and judge how good high school football teams are in the area from Texas, so I'll take it with a grain of salt

I'll give you 9 points. I watched most of the game today actually. Bolden will be alright, but Kinnick Stadium may be rough for the young lad.

The defense did well today. They gave up one big drive and the other TD was off of a turnover deep in their territory. I like the way the defense progressed yesterday but the front four need to do a better job getting some pressure. The offense did move the ball until they got inside the 25 yard line. I do not think they threw one time on first down inside the red zone. I just do not like the coaching job this staff is doing at all this year. Yesterday was a big win because Penn State may need it for bowl eligibility. Right now this team will lose to Iowa and Ohio State for sure. They could lose to Michigan, Michigan State, and Northwestern as well. Right now Penn State fans need to just hope they can get to 6 wins.

Right now, I just hope Pitt can somehow beat FIU.

PSU should lose to Iowa, but remember: Iowa is protypical B10 team...Big, slow, unathletic, overrated...It wouldn' surprise me if PSU upset Iowa.

Yeah I'll take my Panthers 24-21 over Isiah Thomas's Panthers.
Dion Lewis has a HUGE day, 67 yards
Tino only throws 2 ints.
and only 1 player gets arrested this week.

My idea of a successful week.

They've played 4 games, not 3. This season is 33% of the way over. I'm struggling to figure out how you can objectively think this team wins 5 more games.

Minnesota, Illinois, and Indiana they should win. That's 3.

I just watched the highlights on ESPN.com of the Temple TDs. In both instances, the left DE closest to the screen made horrible plays. The first one was Crawford, who was more worried about pushing the OT towards the middle of the line than he was about the RB who scampered around his end w/o the DE even giving him a glance. The second was number 90, who ran straight up field instead of staying flat on the line. Horrible angle, results in a TD.

This team is not very good at all.

I watch the games not just ESPN for the highlights. I think this team will continue to improve throughout the year much like the 2005 team that went into Northwestern and looked horrible but pulled out a late win led my Michael Robinson and Derrek Williams. That team looked like crap that game and for the first 4 games of the year. You may have said the same thing about that team after that game. It's a long season. I seen a lot of positives in each game and some growth by a lot of the younger players. I expect that to continue. # 90 is Stanley by the way.

Are you seriously going to get on my **** for "not watching games"? Get a grip.

Are you talking about the same PSU team who started like complete garbage and turned around their season on a great play by Williams against NW? So you are banking that Graham Zug will make a spectacular catch and they'll get some confidence? How about this instead: Coach your players in the offseason, instead of waiting until something big happens to them where they turn it around THEMSELVES. That offensive line has been a complete joke for years, Kirk. Its no one's fault except the coaching staff. This year's recruiting is no one's fault except the coaching staff. You have a QB coach shooting his mouth off about Iran's nuclear capacity. How about instead of that, you tell us why a kid won the starting QB job when he was on campus 6 weeks, and beat out a kid who under your own tutelage hasn't made a lick of progress in 21 months. Why are we the only "elite" football program in the nation who is still using the same strength program everyone else ditched years ago? Is it a coincidence that other top schools all have players who look twice as jacked and strong as our guys, because they made the switch to olympic style training? Is it a coincidence that PSU players get slower the longer they remain in the program? Is it a coincidence that PSU players are injury prone in the NFL?

My family and myself have given enough money to that program to earn the right to **** and complain if I want. I stuck with them through the bad years and have defended them and their idiotic ways for years. The fans have sat and took it on the chin when they breast feed this program a ridiculous out of conference home slate, jacked the ticket prices every year, jacked up parking, asked for "optional donations" each season. The people who fill that stadium are the ones who matter. They have to sell US on their product, it is not a right of theirs to have fans, its a privilage. I also know what that program COULD become, and I'm sick and tired of the excuses by Joe and Curley and everyone else. They came right out and said that when Joe leaves, they are not hiring a top assistant or HC from another school who wants to get paid what he deserves. They literally said "WE WILL HIRE A LESSER CANDIDATE WHO WILL ACCEPT LESS MONEY".

If you are okay with where this program is, which is 9-3 or 10-2 annually w/ a garbage schedule, then you're apparently a much more diehard fan than I'll ever be. I'm tired of the mediocrity that the fans are getting b/c those coaches know they have life time contracts.

Even with Temple having an upswing recently, Penn State should never be within 30 points of them. They should never be within 60 of Youngstown. Those games should be over in the 1st quarter. But they are not, and we have people making serious predictions that Temple might beat them. You know what, they almost did. They led at halftime. But wait, let me guess, "the team is getting better" and "we have a young team".
