Moldo, I dont understand what red Flag that sends up, and even if you do or dont agree with it, it was his and his families decision to move his kids to Bishop Carroll, and Im almost positive that he is wrestling for portage this year because of the whole co-op thing.

Sneakers, Im not really sure how that ties in, and BC was 2-8 last year and not a whole lot of people were giving them a chance this year, he couldn't have known that they would be winning like they are

It is Mr. Kepharts and his son's choice to go to a diffrent school. BC offers a lot of opportunities that a public school can't. Apperantly the education is that much better, in that short of a time they can notice a huge differance. As for going there to play RB, that was BC coaches choice, he apperantly showed the ability to play there, or he would still be playing on the line. It was Portages decision to play him there.

exactly my point ...no one gives them a chance, then boom!..no doubt they will be a force in the 'A' bracket this year...Bishops...8 'A' District Championships over the last 25 years...32% of the titles from 2 schools...
2 out of 24 schools in this year's rankings...they should only win 8% (or 2...8% of 25 is 2) of the titles if everyone plays under equitable rules the publics are forced to adhere to....play 'AAA" or put privates in own class and NO ONE CARES!!!!!

A good athlete who transfers from ONE school to another for his senior year and plays sports for the new school does NOT SEND UP A RED FLAG???? Maybe you are not aware that transferring for athletic reasons is illegal in the eyes of the PIAA. I mean can you imagine college athletes transferring anytime they want from one school to another without a punishment of some sort? The PIAA is supposed to frown on this, but so many kids going from public schools to private schools get away with it, no questions asked. And then when we are given a reason for the transfer like, my kids grades got mixed up so we left, I just can't buy it. The kid had no problems with Portage in the past, why all of the sudden. His younger brother is still there. Why isn't he at Holy Name if Portage is so bad. Things just don't add up.

And another thing. Instead of taking is kids out of Portage because of the grading snafu and spending $10,000 per year to attend BC, why didn't he hire a lawyer for a couple of hundered dollars to clear things up? Makes more sense, especially when everything was copasetic at Portage in the past. Can't believe one incident like this caused a life changing decision.

Where there is smoke, there is fire. And there is definately an inferno here. I've had the chance to talk to some of Dave's former Portage teammates from last couple years and his youth league football coaches and this entire situation goes way beyond a wrong grade in a class.

I don't understand why all of these BC fans, who were MIA for the last couple years, just don't call it how it is. You got a senior transfer who has made a tremendous impact on your team. Just sit back and smile. The bottom line is once again, BC and Sponsky cannot win with their own players. It takes players from public elementary schools of Blacklick and Portage to produce wins.

Which coach, Sponsky or Gouse has a better chance at getting this young man into college?

Still waiting to hear if he is going to wrestle at Portage.

Yeah because the rest of the team including Woo, barzdo, chumrik, and all of the other players on the team have nothing to do with the wins, it doesnt take one player to win a game, it is a team effort, this isnt the westpac where one player can win a game. someone is awfully angry because they only have one win on the year so far.......
