We have been through this year after year, BC and BM back and fourth and its still happening. The transferring of kids its not going to stop so I don't know why people r wasting their time on this topic. So some of you have your way and all of sudden transferring to private schools stops then what? Boy what would the LHAC be w/out BM or BC you would have FH's and thats it in football. What would this web site be like we would actually have to talk about just the game of football and topics about football would not change to topics of recruiting. Its always going to happen so why **** and waste time lets just talk about the game of football .
I really don't know why a parent would come on here and explain his situation to strangers. I'm a parent and if I feel that my son would be in a better situation at BC and open up more doors for my sons college options why not. As a parent u want the best for your son and always give your son the best opportunity to succeed thats my opinion. Kephart is in a great situation whats the saying having ones cake and eating it too. Football at BC, Wrestle at Portage, and education well public or private no real difference besides the addition of a religion class and on site chappel. Can't wait until Friday!! Big day in E-burg leave early no parking if u r going to the BC CC game.

Over the past 4 to 5 years, Sponsky showed he couldn't win with his own kids.

You seem to be forgetting all those years with numerous district titles and a state championship appearance. I bet every single kid on those teams were recruited huh?

mc, dont get too worked up over this my friend.

McCort went to states last season with starters from parochial schools like...
Seidel
Pinkerton
Domonkos
Belskey
Pioli
Bambino
James
Bako
Horkick
Leech
Lamb
Moot
Penska

The only kids ever brought up on this website were Merriman and Rugg.

It is what it is.

Like we said before, 2 out of 11 starters is approximately 20% of your offense or defense. Makes a difference, my friend, in winning, don't you think?

Are you serious with this?

I would be my house on the following:
McCort would have ONE district 6 AA title if it wasn't for transfers. If Scott Lewis doesn't transfer to McCort, McCort NEVER wins a district title in 06, and their run never begins.

McCort DOES NOT make it to states last year with out Rugg or Merriman...they were your TWO BEST defensive players last year!

NEWSFLASH Crimson...1 or 2 kids makes a huge difference in single A and AA football. PERIOD!
And the last thing I must tell you...NEVER QUIT!

Oh 1-2 players makes a difference in A and AA football you say?

So how much better is Westmont with Merriman? They go from what? a 2 win to a 3 win team?
Does Windber do much more with Rugg on the team? Prolly not.

The fact of the matter is, McCort minus Rugg and Merriman was heads and shoulders above any A team(exept Bellwood) in this area with a roster comprised of kids from parochial schools.

So that kinda defeats your argument, wouldn't you say?

Don't get me wrong they are great players, but they weren't the sole reasons like you make it out to be.

Is that "lite" icing, with Cool-whip, or regular "heavy" icing with lots of Crisco and pure cane sugar? We caloric-ally challenged fans want to know.
It ain't over until it's over.
